2007 Pilot EX-L $29,899 Plus tax, title, tags in VT by vtgreen87

I began my search a few weeks to late to get the great deals on the 2006 Pilots. Cash to dealer is now $2,500 instead of $3,000 and no low rate financing. I was all set to buy a 2006 Pilot EX-L in silver for $26,999 plus tax, title, and doc fees from Berlin City in NH. Dealt with the Internet Sales Manager there. Turns out the car on their website had been in an accident! Car is still on website under new inventory! What a crock! Then we saw their flyer in our local newspaper advertising a 2006 Pilot EX-L-RES in silver for $28,388. We called and the NH folks said the car was not there and was now in Maine. Called the Maine Berlin City folks and they said they have a car like that but a different stock number than advertised and would not honor the ad price! The wanted $29,419! Another Crock! Their ad is still up - beware of these bait and switch scams. They did offer $29,899 on a 2007 Pilot EX-L in gray metallic, plus delivery fee to VT of $125, and doc fee of $139 even though we would have to pay sales tax in VT and do registration and tags ourselves. Another Honda dealer in Vermont, Carbone Honda had a similar 2007 Pilot EX-L in gray metallic and met the price of $29,899. They did not charge the delivery or doc fees. Carbone Honda folks were professional, straight forward and no funny business. Dealt by phone with the Internet Sales Manager. I highly recommend them. I have bought other Honda's previously from Berlin City and rec'd a good price and treatment. I have no idea what has changed over there but this experience was a joke.

I just received a quote which I feel is not very good given what I've read here - 2006 Pilot EX - $25,800. The manager just took the invoice and subtracted $2500 from it. Lame.

It looks like I'll check out the prices on a 06 Nissan Murano before going any further down this path.

I thought September was a good time to buy? Maybe the cheaper gas prices is pushing the price up.

-I just thought I'd share

07 Pilot EXL AWD with Navi pricing in NY/NJ are by tmock13

I'm in the market for a 07 Pilot (Gray metallic) EXL AWD with Navi in NY/NJ area. After reading about the great deals about what people got for the 06 models (28k to 29k), i refused to pay 32K to 34K for the 07 model which is exactly the same as the 06 model.
Anybody out there know of any great deals on the 07 Pilot EXL AWD with Navi? Anybody got pricing yet from dealers?
The dealers in the NY/NJ area are currently offering 4.9% financing but who cares about that when they're asking 34K.
Anyway, the 08 Pilots will be totally redesign, as told by Honda corp., so hopefully these dealers will wake up and offer a better price on the 07 models.

I just bought an 06' Pilot EXL-Navi about 4 weeks ago and paid $29K. The reason they were that low, was because a year end model manufacturer to dealer $3K incentive that most dealers pasted along to customers to help get rid of ther oversupply of the 06' model. Honda is not offering this incentive to the dealers on the 07' model. So if you are being offered the 07' model at invoice that is a good price. Maybe you can get some accesories thrown in. I bought mine at Huntington Honda on Long Island and were very happy with my experience there.

I have read that at the LA Auto Show this December Honda will be debuting some new or redesigned cars & SUV's. I would bet it will be the 08' Pilot redesign.

07 PILOT EXL NAVI AWD AT DCH ACADEMY HONDA IN OLD BRIDGE IS $31900 + DEST, MOST NJ DEALERS ARE AROUND THIS PRICE, THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THEIR FEES, ACADEMY HONDAS' DOCUMENTARY FEE IS $129. IT IS THE LOWEST AROUND SO THEIR ON THE ROAD PRICE IS GENERALLY THE CHEAPEST, ALSO TO GET THEIR BEST PRICE ASK FOR THE MANAGER WHO CAME FROM OPEN ROAD
