Advantage of leasing is essentially that you have a guaranteed price, but I can pretty much assure you that you will come out well ahead if you buy it and sell when you are ready for a new one, assuming you are going to pay those numbers. |

| Would like an opinion on a quoted price for for a Pilot EX-L with NAV and a few extra options( running boards and splash guards ). I was told that lowest price was 30,1000 | |

Hi, I am interested in purchasing 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L 4AWD with RES or Navi. I recieved the following quotes from Clinton Honda in NJ: 1) 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L RES 4AWD - $28,479 + destination & handling 2) 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L 4AWD w/Nagi - $29,495 + destination & handling. Are the prices above good? (I am also planning to trade-in a 2002 honda accord EX-v6 Coupe). Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

This forum was helpful with my purchase so I thought I would post the price I paid and my buying experience. I used edmunds to send out several internet quote requests. I'm in the south burbs of chicago. Planet Honda in Matteson $27,292. Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn $26,850. Community Honda in Orland Park $26,213. I ultimately went with Community Honda and couldn't have had a more pleasant buying experience. Just about everything had been arranged over the phone or through the internet. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted outside and they new who I was even though we never met before. From start to finish the whole process was smooth organized and very professional. Community Honda price 2006 Honda Pilot EX 4WD Amazon Green $26,213 (includes destination) Doc Fee $57.33 License/Title Fee $80.00 Other misc. fees $40.00 and of course cook and state tax. By the way this price includes the manufacturer to dealer $2000 incentive. Very happy with my new car, hope this helps others with there negotiating. |

I’m thinking of getting the EX 2WD model but I’m not in a hurry to get one. My time frame to purchase is in Sept-Oct. After reading many posts, I was thinking of an out the door price of $26,500 with a trade-in (2000 Toyota Corolla CE). Do you think that’s a good deal or can I do better? Thanks. Charleston, SC |
