Just picked up a beautiful 2006 Pilot 2WD EX-L w/DVD (RES) Redrock Pearl with leather interior for $28,800 plus TTL and dealer fee of $599. I couldn't knock down the dealer fee, but was able to knock down the price significantly. I started negotiations at $29,000. Live in the Tampa, FL area for those who are wondering. Paid cash. Very happy with my experience!

I should also note that Honda Cars of Boston also provided a very competitive quote, though they didn't have the car in my preferred color (while Clair did). |

We want to buy a Pilot before 5/1/06 to take advantage of the Honda finance offers. I've gotten a few internet quotes, but I think they are pretty high. What is the $1,000 incentive that everyone keeps mentioning? Is there also a kickback they are receiving? What amount under invoice should I try to pay (obviously the most possible!) or should I begin negotiations with? When I got my Accord in 2001, I paid about $500 under invoice and thought that was good, but it seems like today that might not be good enough. I guess I really need to watch out for all the dealer charges too, correct? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
