#14162 of 15568 Honda Pilot EXL - RES
Apr 12, 2010 (4:52 pm)
I am starting to look for a new vehicle for my wife and just started the hunt. I recently had good luck on the Edmunds forum for my MDX, so I thought I would start here. I am looking for a vehicle to replace our 04 Oydssey and want something for the Colorado snow storms. The Pilot seems to fit the bill for our family. What is a reasonable price to pay for a 2010-11 EXL-RES or Touring? Since the changes seem to be minimal for 2011 it seems like if I can find the right 2010, I might save a little money. I just got a qoute from a local dealer of $33,755 for a 2010 EXL-RES. My hunch is that this is high. I don't have enough information to determine what is considered a good price yet. Thanks in advance.
#14163 of 15568 2010 EX-L any in the Southeast?

I'm looking for a 2010 EX-L in the southeast and have not been able to find one... I do have a decent deal on a 2011 EX-L I think 31,900.

31,900 is pretty good for 2011. You may be able to use this to locate one: link title. However, I'd verify the dealers website or contact them to make sure they have what your looking for in stock. I find that it will assist in locating a vehicle, but inventory isn't always accurate.

Thank you for the link - I checked and confirmed that I'm probably looking at a 2011. I have found quite a few dealers that have not updated there websites regarding there 2010 inventory drives me nuts. I'm hoping to get that price down a little further - that was his initial price without haggling - but this will be my third honda in the last 24 months from him.

I'm picking it up tomorrow. Couldn't find anything similar anywhere close.. I put a deposit as I'm getting it at least $1500 cheaper than anywhere else..

I'm looking at purchasing a 2010 EX-L with DVD headrest for 31,499 - the DVD headrest cost 1499 - so the price without would be 30,000 here in the Atlanta area.
