Thanks for your reply bigdadi118

My payments are 557.62 per month for 36 months.

The difference is $79.1 per month more than your calculation. It amounts to $2847.6 for 36 months.

But I had $996.00 negative equity from trade in and $2008.93 as tax (6.25%) included in the monthly payments. That leaves with a discount of $157.

Your tax calculation is full sale price of car.

Depending on which state, in my state on auto leasing we only pay the tax percentage of the monthly amount.

Example : 450 x 6.25% = 28.125, monthly payment incl tax = 478.13

Good evening everyone! I thought I'd let everyone know in the Northern CA area that I have received what feels like a good deal on a Bali Blue/Gray interior Pilot. Originally worked thru Costco Program but found better prices without it. Quoted is $35,220 + tax/license. Picking up on Saturday.

I was reading on the Edmunds site about Gas Mileage. It indicated that the the pilot 2009 2wd averaged 19.3 miles per gallon and that the 4wd averaged 14.4. Honda only advertises a 1 mile per gallon difference between 2 and 4wd. I live in Boston and rarely turn on my 4wd, maybe 1-2 times per year. Does anyone have any information regarding a 5 mile per gallon difference in mileage?

Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in, being an 08 EX-L owner for about 12 months now, and love the vehicle. I'm also a big fan of Consumer Reports, and they rate the 08 Pilot higher than the 09 on a nbr of points I won't go into here.

For those that might come upon a similar scenario, I for one would be careful about selecting an 09 EX (which seems to have come with fewer features such as 4wd, leather, RES, etc?) at a price $2.5K higher than the 08? Maybe I'm missing something?

Here is the deal I closed in the Cleveland area on a 2009 AWD Pilot Touring without RES for a 36 month lease and 15k miles per year.

MSRP $39065
Cap cost $33122
Acquisition fee $595
Gross cap cost $33717
Residual $18355.05

Monthly payment including tax (7.75%) is $523.

I think I got a good deal.

We got quoted $30,000.00 plus taxes, tag, and titling fees- brings to total $32407.

Is this a good price?

We have a possible trade in but was told don't expect much (4Runner '03 with 108,500 miles) They said to look at Kelly Blue Book. For good shape around $6,000.00 trade-in. We looked at Edmunds it is $9000.00 trade-in.

Thoughts anyone?

first time you post 29170 as OTD. I thought it is very good deal. but Now you told me it is just price for car. Then plus tax and fee. So totally you pay 29170*(1+8.625%)+Fee, that is a lot. Now I only condise 28000 for EX AWD is good price. Anyone get email or call from commonwealth Honda. they claim they will have big rebate on pilot. I wonder how is that.
