09 Pilot Touring without RES by jwalls

2009 Pilot Touring without RES. White in color with grey interior.

Quoted $ 35,298.00 plus dealer doc of 55.00....and of course tax, license. Out the door price of 38,598.00...what do you think ?

A technical question. Was thinking about getting the running boards but the Honda web site shows them a accessory and KBB dont show them available at all. Anyone know what the scoop is ? I am thinking about asking them to "throw" those in and we have a deal. I think they showed the cost at just over $600.00

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

$34972 is a good price. I bought same vehicle back in August for $34500 after much haggling but there was dealer cash back then as well. That was only 3% above dead cost.

Remember to indicate whether you are discussing 2WD vs 4WD when you post your prices. The response that I just posted RE: $34500 for Touring Nav & RES was for 4WD.

Been negotiating with a couple of dealers on a 4wd Touring without RES. Have got them both down to 35,038.00 base price (includes doc fee) but neither will throw in the running boards. How long should I hold out ? My wife really wants the lighted running boards...

I do not know where you leave but i feel you should be doing better than that. I bought a 4WD Touring with RES for 35865(including Lighted Running board & all seasons mat) this August in MA. You just need to bargain more but when your first lady wants it,you may not be able to hold on forever. I love the lighted running board especially in this wintery condition.Goodluck with your shopping.

Woah, there's a $2000 dealer incentive this month? Thought I read on the forums that they inexplicably cut back on incentives in Nov. but I'm just a noobie.

No, there isn't a 2000 incentive for this month. There was one a while ago and it ended in August, I think.

I actually got off the phone with Honda Financial Services inquiring about the notorious "Bank Fees" of $595 that seems to be included by all the dealerships. They had no idea, what bank fees i was talking about. So i explained that the dealers are charging me this money to "initiate the lease loan" for me. Just like the closing fees for your home equity line, i explained. They still did not have any clue, and firmly said: quote: We do not charge dealers any "bank" fees for lease programs. I guess this is how dealers make their money on customers. You should shop around for better deal" end quote. I have talked to about 10 dealers so far, ALL of them have $595 bank fees incorporated into final lease price. Its like some sort of undisclosed pack they've all agreed to charge.
Also most, dealers charge the doc fee of $299. The fees come on TOP of the regular DMV (registration and title) fees. They wouldn't argue about it either.

Also is it customary to factor in Destination fees of $670 into the negotiated selling price of the vehicle for lease? Doesn't it get added to the MSRP?
