what dealership is this? If it is nearby, I may want to try working with them. I live in Silicon Valley.

Santa Ana Honda in Orange County, CA. Who knows if they would have honored that price had I gotten into the financing office. They wanted me to sign a paper saying if they could do that price that I would buy from them. I laughed at him and told him I need to have my wife drive it before I could make a purchase (I still think I can get lower. It may just be by waiting a month or two though) If I can get it lower maybe I will go for the Touring.

In August/September I saw people getting the Touring 4WD out the door for $34,185 so I dont think I will be happy until I can get in that ballpark...

I got an email quote for $31988 last weekend, the lowest written quote so far.

I think you are right.. I think Honda will eventually provide dealer incentives later this year when sales are really low, which will give some more room to go lower. I am also thinking about a 4WD Touring with RES.

Let's keep each other posted if we find lower quotes....

So what does everyone think about what Honda has offered up for Pilots for November???

NO cash back, rebates, dealer cash, etc.!!??

And they even raised the percentages on the finance packages??
I sure dont know what to make of this ... during really BAD economic times...

That's great! I don't live very far from Houston. What is the dealer's name? Do you have any negotiation tips?

I would not sweat it. Whatever goes up it has to come down so I will expect if you are not desperate and hold on. I think Honda is being to full of itself and soon will recognize that. There are good deals with Toyota and other manufacturers. Give it a couple of months to see how Honda reacts and if it does not then, Do not buy HONDA!! . I think they are still a little overpriced.

Trouble with Bluetooth? by redikqliss

hey i brought my 09 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD in July and had enough time to play with most of the nav features and bluetooth stuff. Now after i found i could send my phone's contacts(Verizon LG Chocolate VX855V03) into the nav and a whole new bunch of options arise. So after i also found you can send your calendar dates through, i did just that. Then my phone was damaged, i exchanged for another, then only the calendar dates didn't go through, I thought it would be my phone so i had my gf who just got her brand new phone try to send dates but all that kept coming up was "Check Receiving Device of Bluetooth" or something close to that, so i know that it wasn't just my phone. Went to the dealer to see if they could sort it out, and explained what i did so they dont put the blame on the phone, the guy said that the car really doesn't/isn't suppose to receive dates (even though i showed him 2 dates i had sent to the car). Now i understand the car is new and will have bugs to work out but i was hoping to get it fixed or at least have decency to say "idk". Anybody have that problem, something similar, or has tried that option?

from what i understand, the pilot's bluetooth and only receive data from one phone only. you have to delete the old phone and resend everything from the new phone.

Purchased 2009 Honda Pilot 4WD with RES by duane10

For everyone's information:

On 10/7/08 we purchased a 2009 Pilot 4WD with RES for $33K including destination fee. They gave us 0% financing for 4 years on $15K. I put down the remainder of the purchase price. This was in Palo Alto California at Anderson Honda...

They also would have gone down to $32.4K purchase price with but would only finance at 2.9%.
