Do your research and dont let them push you around. Tell them you will leave if you feel too pressured. You make the demands, not them. |

I have been browsing this thread for a while now and thought I'd contribute. I live in Northern California and bought a 2009 2WD EX-L (no RES) for $4000 off MSRP ($30,265). This included the destination charge, but did not include TTL. Probably could have held out longer for a better deal, but I thought the price was low enough. |

If you're not buying for a few months why bother trying to make a dealer "squirm" if you're that far removed from the purchase? "Tell them you will leave if you feel too pressured." I would have walked you to the door long before you felt pressure. Too bad for the salesman who's time was wasted on you didn't do more to put the "pressure" on. He probably could have saved an hour or two with you, trying to find someone who was there to help him make a living.

Replying to: duane10 (Nov 03, 2008 10:29 am) In August/September I saw people getting the Touring 4WD out the door for $34,185 so I dont think I will be happy until I can get in that ballpark...
