Well said, some folks can't obey very simple thread rules.I don't even understand which areas honda's quality issues is arising from. I have had the 09 AWD Pilot Touring since August and 2 of my friend have joined the band wagon. It may not be sleek but it performs very well.

My my... This is a section for Honda Pilot Enthusiasts. For you and others that offer up thoughts or opinions contrary to this sections base of readers to join in a section on negative or non biased views of the Pilot. I think most here would agree that we wouldn't be reviewing this section if not to become more educated on Prices or Sales experiences gained by peoples purchases. It certainly helped people like me on the purchase of my 2009 EX-L for 30k. 6k off sticker. Perfect or not, I think its a hell of a vehicle. In fact, I love the Pilots that much I would sell or trade mine in for a 2009 Touring model when the prices and offers come back again. Might be next summer during clearance, but I wouldn't hesitate on a this SUV for a moment knowing I would keep it for years to come...

I paid $24,500 for a 2wd SE at the end of July. That was when they had the $4,000 to dealer incentive. I don't know if that has changed for the 2008 models at this point. I would guess there are not a lot of 2008 models left at this point, so if you wait too long they may be all gone. I suggest not using the Honda web site. I requested e-mail quotes from about 10 to 15 dealers in my region (I'm in the LA area) using Edmunds, CarsDirect and a few send direcly to the dealers from their Web sites. I took the two low offers to my local dealer, who matched. It was relatively pain free.

I submitted a bid for an 09 Touring with NAV and RES at Wilde Honda
for 6500 dollars off of MSRP. The salesman expalined that the $2000 rebate was over however the dealer wanted to know the specifics of my trade in order to offer
something close in my estimation. I am waiting to hear from them sometime today
or on Monday and I'll let you know.

My advice: If you can wait a couple of months the incentives should come back. The is a reason: SUV sales are not as brisky as they wished they were and over the last two years Honda has been offeing them. Besides the economy is not that great.
