2008 SE pricing

I've been following this board off and on for quite awhile, given the current market I was testing the waters.
I have two offers for a 2008 SE for ~$26,800 using request a quote from the Honda website.
I have two questions:
How much (if any) negotiation room is there?
Is there reason to buy now, or wait? I'm not in a hurry.

Some sort of legal right to the car? Doubtful.. nothing worth pursuing..
I'd just say, "No way".. then, see what happens... A deal is a deal.. if they won't deal, then write them off..

if I were you, I would start over with a new dealer. And if you can wait, order the car you want. just tell them to put it on order in their weekly buy. And you should deduct another $150ish because they won't have to pay a floor plan expense on the car.

Finally bought my Black 2009 Pilot EX-L 2wd auto for $30,500.
This includes the Doc fee, but not TTL.
Have them install running boards with lights for additional $800.
Drove it home last night....loving it.
This is in Norman,Oklahoma.

Honda cannot keep the slogan "The Car That sells itself" any more. Honda quality is degrading, or other cars quality/reliability are up to par with Honda.

Well said,some folks can't obey very simple thread rules.I don't even understand which areas honda's quality issues is arising from. I have had the 09 AWD Pilot Touring since August and 2 of my friend have joined the band wagon. It may not be sleek but it performs very well.

My my... This is a section for Honda Pilot Enthusiasts. For you and others that offer up thoughts or opinions contrary to this sections base of readers to join in a section on negative or non biased views of the Pilot. I think most here would agree that we wouldn't be reviewing this section if not to become more educated on Prices or Sales experiences gained by peoples purchases. It certainly helped people like me on the purchase of my 2009 EX-L for 30k. 6k off sticker. Perfect or not, I think its a hell of a vehicle. In fact, I love the Pilots that much I would sell or trade mine in for a 2009 Touring model when the prices and offers come back again. Might be next summer during clearance, but I wouldn't hesitate on a this SUV for a moment knowing I would keep it for years to come...
