Example for 2009 Pilot: 0.9% for 36 months financing at $28.16 a month for every $1,000.00 financed. Dealers set actual vehicle sales prices. See participating dealers for details. For well qualified buyers. Not all buyers may qualify. Higher rates apply for buyers with lower credit ratings. Offer valid from 9/3/2008 through 11/3/2008, on new and unregistered 2009 Pilot Models and only on approved credit by Honda Financial Services through participating dealers. Honda Financial Services' standard credit criteria apply. Example for 2009 Pilot: 0.9% for 36 months financing at $28.16 a month for every $1,000.00 financed. See dealer for details. Dealers set actual prices. Limited time only."

Maybe in other markets (I'm in St. Louis) that may not be the case, but over here, 2008 models are virtually gone. I hope for other interested buyers the incentive will come back soon; personally I wouldn't hold my breath until next month. Hondanews also list Pilot sales as the second least declining compared to September year-ago; if Honda wants to provide incentive, they would be better off giving it to other models (Odyssey for instance) - again this is just conjecture on my part. On a side note, I got my pilot at the last day of the incentive and we did 2.9% financing (which was the lowest financing available then); two weeks later, the dealer called and said that he can give the 0.9% financing, so that was pretty sweet |
