I dealt with a dealership in Germantown, MD to get my price. I got teh 09 EXL Pilot with door edge guards, bluetooth, XM radio, cargo cover and cargo tray & roof rails for $34,000 flat out the door which means after tax tags and everything. The only other thing I wish I had added was the wiring harness for the trailer hitch. That may have increased my price $100-200 potentially if I would have added it. Anyways, I ultimately bought the Pilot in Tyson's Corner VA since it is closer. I had the quote in hand and they matched it through our e-mail exchanges. Once we agreed on teh price we set up a time to pick it up and purchase I worked with a guy named Ivan in Tyson's Corner. The guy in Germantown, MD was the only person I could get everything in writing at that price though. Don't have his name though at this moment. I negotiated a lot and used this forum alot. You should definitely be able to get my price though. Good luck.

Agreed. In today's world, thirsty SUV's should not be going up in price.
At least the 0.9% financing is back on until 11/3/08.

I agree with you j_ho. I am going to wait until Honda offers the $2000 dealer incentive again, even if it takes 6+ months. I am in no hurry to buy my new Pilot. I would have to imagine that the market is going to continue to be difficult for SUVs, even Hondas. The fact that they offered that money and the low rate virtually from day one of a brand new model makes me think that they know they will have to offer it again sometime in the near future.

I was surprised that the $2000 incentive was dropped. But I did notice that Pilot sales were up in August 2008 over the same month in 2007. But still in today's auto market, it does not make sense for Honda to drop the incentive. I am betting that sales will fall back off without the incentive and it will return in October. Also noticed that Odyssey sales were way, way down and they increased the incentive on the 2008's to $3500. Kind of strange that the Pilot sales were up and the Odyssey went down.
I think people are starting to realize what a nice job Honda appears to have done with the 2009 Pilot. I am anxious to get one, but will not do without the incentive.

I agree. I'm waiting until there is another incentive for at least $2,000. I didn't hear about the last one until it was too late. Was it advertised anywhere? I only learned about it from this site.

Odyssey is way down & pilot is up ... that reflects my switch from Odyssey to Pilot 5 months ago.
Odyssey has its problems: wind noise, soft brake, droning noise, FWD only. I need 4WD due to NE winter.
