Lejeune Honda in Jacksonville NC. 2009 EXL 4WD was $32,175 and 2009 EXL 4WD w/RES was $33,782. Also, Autopark Honda in Cary NC matched the offer. You take a little bit off and tell them the other one gave you this price and you want to see if they can beat it or something.( say take anout $200-$300 off the price above and see what they can do

EXL 4WD w/RES OUT THE DOOR IN EL PASO TX WAS $36,6900 WITH 8.25% TAX AND THIS INCLUDES $600 ADDED FOR SHIPPING IF I PURCHASED IN NC.THEY HONORED THE NC OFFER AND ADDED $600 SO I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO NC TO GET IT.SO THE ACTUAL PRICE IS $36,900 OUT THE DOOR.TRY LEJEUNE HONDA IN NC AND AUTOPARK HONDA IN NC.THE PRICE SHOULD BE $32,175 + TAXES AND SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN $34,500 FOR EVERYTHING FOR EXL 4WD. USE THE FIGURES I HAVE ABOVE MINUS FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS TO SEE IF THEY WILL COME DOWN SOME.

2008 Pilot 4x4 EX-L RES by ricksee

Just got a 2008 4x4 EX-L RES yesterday from a Honda Dealer in Fairfax, VA. Had been emailing for a week to many detailers. This one had pretty good price but also the dreaded "appearance package" for $495. They did not have any interest in working with me on removing the appearance package, so I moved on in my quest (electronically walked out of the dealership). Miraculously, 24 hours later I got an email that indicated the first 5 purchasers the following day would get $500 off the already quoted special internet price.

Quoted price was 27327 plus:
$385 processing fee
$635 destination fee
$495 appearance package (profit)
Less $500 first 5 buyers discount (removal of appearance package profit)
Real price: 27,957 + TTL

They had other 08's left in a several trims, but like everywhere, not many colors to choose from.

Fairly decent experience, took about 2 hours. Only feedback I gave business manager at end was that I had been handed a form to fill out indicating that it was required information. I told salesman I would not fill it out as it was a credit application (employment/resident history, release to check credit, salary made, etc). and the salesman indicated we had to. I indicated I wouldn't, he said he would have to ask boss if it was OK not to fill out. My take is that they want to see if they can/will offer you their financing, so they run the credit report on you. I had financing. This volley was not contentious at all, but I bet ALOT of people just fill out that form without questioning it.

They offered me $200 for my 96 AWD Explorer XLT (Trade in TMV of 1000, NADA of 1500), and did not want to move up much from that, so I did not trade in.

Thanks for info on this board.

That is way too much. The most you would pay for it should be under $35,000. Check Ebay Motors to see what they are selling also and you can make offer and go from there. You can also chek my earlier comments for places/pricing. By the way what what exl? 2 or 4 wheel drive? With or w/o RES or NAVI?

None. The price for touring should be for 4 wd w/navi and dvd.The price for the exl should fetch you an exl 4wd w/res.Out the door w/out tax is about $34,000. I bought EXL 4wd w/RES for under $36,000 out the door with tx taxes 8.25%.
