| I have read a lot about the great prices the many are getting , but do the deals also include the 2.9% financing? I am looking for an EXL w/RES in Albuquerque and so far the dealers have not been very competitive with the pricing. I am willing to travel to TX, AZ or CO to find a deal. Thanks | |

I knew there was a $3,500 incentive, but was pretty surprised when the quote on the '08 was into the dealer hold back. When I became more serious about purchase (3 weeks ago), there were 10 EX-L Navis on his lot, now there are none, so that particular model is starting to get scarce, at least in our area. I feel as you do on the '09, am not crazy about the new boxy styling, plus I know pricing will be higher when the first models hit the lot, I'd be surprised to see any incentives on the new model as it is rolled out. I know there will be some new bells and whistles on the '09, but, in my brief experience, the '08 w/Navi is very well equipped, love the voice command thing, and XM radio. I think we all know going into the purchase that the gas mileage is not the greatest, but that is one reason the deals are out there. The '09 is supposed to offer marginally better gas mileage, but we'll see how that plays out when it is released. |

| Have been negotiating for a new base 2008 Honda Pilot VP for one week. Down to $22,890. Think the deal will fly when I get to the showroom, or will there be additional "hidden" charges added? | |

If all they are going to do is match the price, just go to the dealer that gave you that price and get your Pilot. In any case, always make them give you their price in writing (via e-mail or even better have them fax you the deal sheet - if they will do it) and not relay on some empty match or beat promise. Dennis, Thanks for all of the good info these last couple of months. We are looking at leasing an '08 Pilot, EX-L AWD, 15K miles per year, 36 months, no on NAV/RES. What is the current MF and Residual for a lease and do you see any changes for May? Also, I've seen some messages where it says the marketing support ($2,500 or $3,500) can be used with the lease and some where it can't...what's the word on that? Thanks in advance. John
