What could it hurt? If you get a price into the hold back, go get it. If not, then you can always hit the closer dealers and month's end. How far to Shreveport? I have been told Holmes Honda has nice prices, but never did any business with them. Dennis

Replying to: dwynne (Apr 23, 2008 11:54 am) The drive out price with window tint, cross bars, protection package, wheel locks and splash guards is $ 27400. Here is the breakdown Price : 25200 Sales Tax (6.25%) = 1575 Acessories: 625 Total: 27400 If i did not opt for the accessories drive out is 26775 I did very hard negotiating with all the dealers in Houston TX. |

| Hi, I live in Central N.J. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is a good lease deal or not for Pilot EX-L (red, grey leather interior)...$34,080.00 MSRP - $420/mo - ZERO money down. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!! | |

Replying to: rinks (Apr 24, 2008 2:46 pm) 2) Take off $3,500 or $2,500 incentive (the VP model you want is just $2,500) If you can get a price for the Pilot, destination, and dealer fee at or below that number then you have a nice deal. There is 2% hold back (some say 3%, but that is too high) so if you take that off of invoice less incentive that would be the dealer makes no money (in theory) price. Anything is possible, invoice less incentive is reasonable as is a dip into some of the hold back. Gas hit $4 a gallon in CA today I see on the news and my wife is paying $50 + for every fill up in her Pilot (it is not $4 here, yet). The dealers and Honda should be willing to do anything to move the guzzlers off the lot Dennis |
