I was originally looking at an EX-L WITHOUT Navi, and the lowest internet quote I got for that was $26,417.04 at The Honda Superstore of Joliet. Planet said they would match that price, so I went with them since they are closer to me. The more I thought about it though I changed my mind and decided to get Navigation for the rear-view camera. If I had just wanted Navi, I guess I could've gone with a Tom Tom or Garmin, etc. and not spend $2000 more. The camera sold it for me plus it was still in my budget of $30K. I also love the XM radio which is included for 90 days. |

We made a deal today on an 08 2wd EXL, no nav or DVD. I am in Kansas City. We paid $26,300 plus $199 doc fee. TTL is paid at the DMV, so not included in sales price. We used Tiffany Honda here, and they were good to deal with. I would have bought the car from the internet department at Oneill, but they only had 4wd, and we wanted 2wd. Oneill emailed me the lowest quote as I had on my initial request. Would have been a breeze, if they had the car I wanted. Had to work to get the same price at Tiffany, but they did it without too much hassle. Good experience with both places. |

| the price I paid is $26.699, including destination fee, $75 for title and doc fee. The dealer is Pauly Honda in North Chicago. A dealer in Highland park would like to match the price, but don't want to beat the price. But Pauly Honda is closer to me. I know the price is not the best one here, but I thing it is a good one. Hopefully the information is useful. Good luck, everyone | |

Replying to: cl601amt (Feb 29, 2008 9:41 pm) The KEY WORDS here, i guess, are "could've" and "if"... those are things we'll never know at the present time when we did our purchase. except of course if you're a "risk taker" and willing to gamble on getting a lower price (500-1000 lower than it is at present) at the risk of losing the entire 3,500 entirely, plus... you should remember that they're clearing out, or doing mopping-up operations, on the 08 Pilots meaning stocks are dwindling and choices are getting limited as you prolong your decision. Definitely, there are those who'll be able to deal it at the sweetest spot but that is more of an exception than a rule... The question now is... DEAL or NO DEAL? peace out
