Replying to: sbddrj (Jan 02, 2008 10:45 am) just paid 26,900+600 dealer fee+tax/tag   including wheel locks and full gas tank.   $1500 less than i paid for my 2003 pilot   the 26,900 price was ok, but since they gave me 14,500 for my 80k miles 2003 pilot, i was happy.

From the Detroit auto show, it is said production version will be nearly the same. Production model to be shown at the NYC auto show. Is Stevie Wonder working in their design department now?   It looks like I won't be upgrading my Pilot for a while. Replying to: hfzeus (Jan 15, 2008 9:44 am) The actual production Pilot will be shown in NYC in a couple of months.   Sometimes they use the "concepts" to float a trial balloon for the design. If they hear enough complaints then the productions appearance may be different. Replying to: dwynne (Jan 15, 2008 12:29 pm) I'm surprised there isn't a stronger resemblance to the MDX... Other than the upper grill, you can barely tell it is based off the same vehicle...   That's probably a good thing for marketing, though...

I love my Pilot (other than the weak FM antenna and seat siding falling off), but would sadly give up a seat and a few grand for the MDX if they make the new one look like a Jeep.
