One of my keys doesn't remotely open the door anymore after 4 years of ownership. I've changed the battery, but no change. I'm not sure I want to have to pay for a new one. Any ideas what it would cost? Anyway, is there a way to arm and disarm the vehicle's standard alarm without the remote? I don't think I've ever seen a switch under the dash for the alarm. Still have my other key, but want to make sure I know of any alternatives to the remote keyless entry and the alarm function. Thanks. |

At least that was what the service rep told me. Hope this helps. Good luck to all and stay safe. jensad

When I get out of the car, I lock the door with the master lock/unlock toward the front of the door (on the panel above the window switches), or the push down button at the back of the door near the seat belt, or the key. Any of them turn on the alarm and start the little red light (at the push down lock) blinking. When the red light on the door is blinking, the alarm is on. Kip |

We have a 2008 Pilot Ex-L. For some reason I can't seem to move the transmission from D, to D3, D2 or D1. I had the car running, foot on the brake and even tried setting the parking brake. No luck. I read through the manual but couldn't seem to find any trick to shifting into these lower gears. Thoughts? Also, does anyone know if there's a way to set up the interior courtesy (?) lights so they turn off if inadvertently left on, after a certain period of time of pulling the key out of the ignition? Example: I pull into the garage and turn the light on up by the rearview mirror; I turn off the car and go in the house, but accidentally leave the light on; an hour later I come back out in the garage and the darn light is still on. For the life of me I can't figure out a light setting that will shut these off automatically. Isn't this going to drain the battery at some point? Thanks.
