I'd love to know what was wrong... the driving style or the car. My dad had a 2005 car similar to mine, and averaged about 4 MPG lower than I. He drives a lot more aggressively than I do (doesn't coast to redlights, lots of highway passing - not content to set the cruise control at 75-80 MPH).

I average 29 MPG in MIXED driving, and driving 80 MPH with A/C on and three people I get about 35 MPG in my '06 Accord 4-cyl Auto. 40 MPG isn't out of the question when you take it to 70-72 MPH on the highway with no A/C (i've done it on two seperate occasions, and 37 MPG is about average for interstate driving for me).

Looking for reviews and experience on installing aftermarket driver power seat in 2006 LX coupe. Do they install the entire new seat or only moving parts? How much I will be looking at? Thanks Oleg

Why do you want to go through the trouble of having power seat? Unless, you want that luxury.

we differ in size and thus the seat has to be adjusted every time we switch cars. I guess you can call it luxury. Oleg

2003 EX Coupe wheel bearing problem by watjol

I have 89,900 miles on my 2003 Accord EX Coupe, and recently noticed a humming/thudding noise coming from my suspension area. After having it examined today by friend of mine who is a mechanic, it apparently is my drivers side rear wheel bearing. Has anyone had this problem? If so, is it covered by any extended warranty? I get all of my service done at the dealership, and I've had all the regular scheduled maintenance performed. This is my 3rd Honda, and I am surprised that a wheel bearing would be going out so soon (for a Honda). I found a TSB (#11012003) for the wheel bearings, but don't know the details of it. I also don't understand if a Service Bulletin means that they will replace it because of a defect? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That TSB was for a front wheel bearing, not the rear as you indicate yours is.

Make : HONDA Model : ACCORD Year : 2003
Manufacturer : HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.)
Service Bulletin Num : 11012003 Date of Bulletin: NOV 01, 2003
NHTSA Item Number: 10009272
Component: SUSPENSION:FRONT:WHEEL BEARING
Summary:
HUMMING OR GROWLING? CHECK THE WHEEL BEARINGS. HONDA. SERVICENEWS. *TT

I'd say that almost 90,000 miles is way beyond any warranty consideration for a wheel bearing. It's just a typical maintenance item, as wheel bearings wear out, some sooner, some later.

Accord Vibraton by jfgolf3

What would cause a vibration in a 96 Accord 2.2 L coupe when de-accelerating at engines speed between 2500 and 2000 RPMs. The vibration stops when the car is put in neutral and seems to be related to the drivetrain or exhaust system.

Hi. Just wondering what you have decided to do? I am in the same boat. I have a 98 V6 coupe and it has 143k miles on it. My transmission went out on me. So, I am debating whether to fix it or not.
