I think you mis-read my original post.. I was interested in knowing if anyone else thought that the 06 V6 coupe/sedan had heavy steering/firm ride...NO, I have not touched the bushings on this car and never would. I was just saying that these issues are most likely due to the revised bushings and larger wheels of the 06 model. I hope I have clarified this misunderstanding, but thanks for your reply anyway....

oh hahaha
wow I wasted my time with that.
Actually, on the topic of it, you could replace the bushings if your ride is too firm.
Or get shocks that are for lowering your ride but leave the springs with the same height.
Im fairly sure that would soften your ride up but you might get alotta bounce. Soft bounces though! hah.

Haha.. now about that autocross..

With Solara going, will Accord coupe follow?? by jrp6977

I have read that the Solara will be discontinued in a year or two. Has anyone heard if Honda will continue to offer a coupe with the next body change for '08?
If so, what's a coupe lover to do?

How do I disable the alarm by gerbrio

Hi, I have the alarm the dealership installed for me. I don't really know what kind of alarm it is. It's installed on my accord v6 coupe lx. Once in a while I would like to disable it. I still haven't figured out the workings of my alarm system. I usually take naps during my lunch breaks. I leave the key in the ignition and listen to music. When I wake up, I take out keys and open the door. Once in a while it would just set off the alarm. It is really annoying. Anybody know how to stop it or what might be causing it? thnx in advance

Just bought an '04 EX Coupe and didn't realize the passenger door lock "button" is missing. Power locks still work. Any idea if this is an expensive fix?

the lock tab that pops up when the power locks are pressed is missing. the only way to unlock the passenger door is by using the power lock. i'm trying to see if i can just get new lock tab screwed in place or if this is a more involved fix.

I think I know what you mean. On older vehicles I think those
used to screw off. I think i recall trying that with the Accord and there was no movement. Will try to look that up in my manual for you. Good luck.

Did you check with the parts dept at your local Honda dealer? Can't believe this one little part would be so expensive to replace? What could it be--10 or 20 bucks?

If it is like the sedan, the knob is flared on the bottom. It does screw on/off, but you have to take the door panel off to replace it.
