| So, with May just about over, anyone have any idea if the $2000 incentive and/or the 3.9% financing are going to continue in to June? I'm in the market for a tech/ent MDX, and am trying to see if there's a compelling reason to pull the trigger tomorrow or if I'm likely to get a better deal by waiting another month. | |

Economy much worse this year than it was this time last year. GLTY

We went to the east brunswick dealership and had the worst experience. The manager was arrogant and would not budge on his proce of 47K for Entertainment and Tech package with chome side bars. They were only offering 500 dollars for a 99 Camry with 100K miles on it and very good condition despite the blue book value of 3K. The manager will tell you he is making no profit by offering you this price with no proof to back it up. I would not go there. We visited the dealer in Montclair and had an amazing experience. The sales guy Paul Pudgets is very friendly down to earth and most of all reasonable. We got the MDX for an out the door price of 46K ( tech / Ent, roof rack, cross bars and chome side rails!!! ) HE even threw in the all weather mats! On top of this they gave us the blue book value for the camry of 3K that counted towards our final price. If you are a costco member you save additional money, I believe 400. He did give us 2K dealer incentive reduction on price. He spent 2 hours after closing making sure they put the chome bars on so we could take the car home that night and went over all car functions in detail. The manager Ric Coyle is also excelllent. It is his job to explain all the warranty packages but in no way does he pressure you. We ended up getting the remote start and the tire protection for a combo deal. All in all the experience was a 180 from east brunswick and we highly recommend going there to purchase your acura. |

Replying to: bmwmdx (May 25, 2009 3:20 pm) I got quotes from nearly all of the Chicago area Internet salespeople. After Arlington, Libertyville had the next-best price, but their Internet salesperson was unbelievably frustrating to deal with - quoted me a price of $38,968, then said she "got in trouble" with her manager for quoting a price lower than she should have and that the offer was only good for 72 hours, then never called again after telling me that she was checking to see what they had in stock and would call me back. I had heard good things about Libertyville on this forum, but she was a mess. Most of the other quotes I got were in the $39,200 to $39,600 range (incl. destination). For what it's worth, it seemed clear to me that inventories are definitely very low. I didn't feel like I left any money on the table buying at $38,950.

Their salesman was very unprofessional. Would never go near them ever!! He was pressuring me to buy at his best price which was lousy. He kept feeding horror stories about bad dealer exerinces. He made really parnoid for a while there. |

| I just bought a MDX Tech/Ent for $41,300 including Dest. this weekend from Rick Case Acura with very little bargaining. After reviewing this board extensively, I submitted my offer to several dealers in the area. Most of them were like "come on in and we can come close to the price". Two of them (Rick Case and Acura of Pembroke Pines) were upfront with their sales price by providing me written offers. Although Rick Case is further away, I chose them simply because they provided me the better deal by about $1000. | |

I bought a new 2009 MDX with Tech + Ent in Southern California for $40,700 including destination and document fees. Taxes and DMV fee are extra. It came up to $44,700 for Out the door. This forum helped a lot in deciding my target price. I expected it to be $500 less than what i paid but i can't get that from any dealer and i am not a very goos bargainer too. giv e me your thoughts on this deal.
