I read on vtec.com there will be minor model changes on the MDX when the 2010's come out in August. Does anyone have any specific details? I'm curious if the PTG will be available on the base model. If I know what specifically is changing I may wait until this summer to purchase an MDX.

Replying to: suspendmix (Jan 26, 2009 8:40 am) I live in Northern Virginia...and I am within a half hour of 3 or 4 dealerships..I spoke to a internet person in Gaithersburg Maryland, he had offered 38,400 a couple of weeks ago...and wasn't sure if he could still offer that...but said it would be close...I negotiated accessories at the internet prices....I am supposed to get back to him at the end of next month..he did not mention the financing which I want to take advantage of... Anyone here from the Mpls area who has recently bought a 2009 MDX? Dealer is trying to tell me that sale prices here are higher than out East or on the West Coast. Says they cannot go as low as prices posted here for New Jersey and Boston.   Thank you!

I'm in the Seattle area   And today got a quote for MDX w/Tech $45,600MSRP and $42,903 sale price, not including $2000 cash to dealer   $40,903 including $2000 cash to dealer offer and, I assume but didn't ask, delivery included   How's that? Replying to: jdl300 (Jan 29, 2009 2:21 pm) that's a great deal....for the dealer. I think the established target price for 09 mdx with tech is 38.4k before TTL. I closed a deal at that number in the end of december and got the .9% financing along with it in the bay area, although I think you can no longer combine the two incentives at this time. Economy is going nowhere so I'd bargain harder. Good luck.

Those came to another $1900 and they were going to charge us $1533 for them.   So with the accessories our total would come to $41,833.   We offered them $40k for everything and they would not take it, did not even counter with another offer. Told me that the economy in Mpls. is not like the East Coast.   This deal would have to be closed yet this month. Dealer told us that incentives from Acura for February are not as much. Replying to: lynnminny (Jan 29, 2009 7:20 pm) I would hold out...the dealer wants to sell a car this month; they've got numbers to meet.   Somehow I doubt the MDX will be receiveing a lesser incentive as the model-year grows older...since 2005, the incentives for this car have only gotten greater as time goes on. I am led to believe that if the cash back is used then you aren't eligible for the 0.9% - 2.9% financing. Please advise if you can . Thanks
