When you finalize the deal do you mind posting what MDX you purchase and the price you paid?
Thanks!!

You can get either the 2k cash back or the special financing (but not both) through Feb 2nd--at one point you could get both, but thats long gone.
The MDX's continue to sell surprisingly well, and Acura cut production due to economic concerns for the next couple of months--so chances are pretty good once the current offer is up Feb 2nd, it will be quite awhile before a similar incentive pops up again, probably not until the end of the year at the earliest, as MDX's may be harder to come by for a period of time this year. This is all conjecture on my part, but I'm probably going to buy one this weekend, as it looks like Honda is going to temporarily at least turn it into a sellers market for the MDX.

I just got off the phone with Tim at hondacuraworld.com and purchased a 96month, 120k mile, $0 deductible acuracare warranty for my mdx for $1915. He is overnighting the paperwork to me (just as he did with my 05). It is truly an amazing price. I have a good friend who is a service manager at a local Honda store and he checked the pricing for me - they are selling it at their cost. (and there is no sales tax which my local store wanted to charge me). They are actually losing money when you consider the credit card fees and overnight fees to get the contract to you. (and no, I'm not affiliated with hondacuraworld in any way, just a happy customer - I'm in Indiana, and they're somewhere farther east ??New York or New Jersey??)

mjfloyd1,
I'm also from Indiana. What MDX trim did you buy , for how much and where did you buy it? Ed Martin gave me the best qoute so far but I haven't bitten the bullet yet.

I am thinking that Acura may have to extend their incentives at the end of Febuary, when lexus starts to discount the 2009 RX350. I believe the 2010 Lexus RX should be in the dealers showrooms sometimes in March. Just my 2 cents on the subject.

Lexus is already discounting their 2009's heavily. Many are getting $8-9k off MSRP with the $5k incentive.

I will certainly do that. Here's my written quote:
2009 Tech Package - $39,300
2009 Sport Package - $41,207

I bought my 05 and traded my 05 for an 08 - all at Lindsay Acura in Columbus Ohio. Call and ask for Brook. I got an 08 with the tech pkg and paid 36250 for the new one and they gave me 15000 for the 05 touring with 54k miles. On the new one, I did have them put on the sport side steps and the all weather mats and cargo tray. I paid a little under $900 if I remember correctly for the accessories installed. The only bad part is that they charge a $275ish fee for the documents. I'm in Bloomington and I did the deal over the phone and met him in Richmond.
One of the most painless transactions that I've had.

The price for the Tech package seems to be in line with other quotes that have been posted on this thread. Are the quotes OTD or do you still have TTL to pay?
Also, how does the standard sound system compare to the upgraded one? I'm weighing my options and the base model may be the way I go. Would rather get the Tech package but don't know if it's worth a $4K upgrade. Don't really need Nav system.

Not sure how the upgraded sound system compares to the standard but I didn't think it was all that until I loaded up the DVD audio that came with it and just blew me away with the clarity and the sound imaging of the 5.1 surround material. XM and FM sound fine and my MP3's sound very good as well. All in all, the system has much better sound than any vehicle I've driven, factory or aftermarket. The NAV comes in handy but I really can't do without the backup camera and it actually saved me last week (2nd week of owning it) when I had to back up on the street and didn't see an Integra behind me. When I looked up in the mirror (like I normally do in my previous sedans/coupes) I didn't see anything and on whim, I just looked at the backup camera and there was a car! There's also been talk on these forums about how some have found the stock tires on the base model to be somewhat poorer (vs the ones on the TECH) as well so you may want to factor that in. Wow, sounds like I'm really pushing the TECH huh? I'm not but check around on this forum and also acuramdx.org. You can read up a ton on people's experiences with both and extrapolate the information you need. I didn't think I was going to miss the powertailgate until the last 2 grocery runs (I had an 09 TECH loaner for a week while my 08 was in the shop) but was it worth the extra $? Probably not.
