Replying to: suspendmix (Jan 17, 2009 8:03 am) I would check with Los gatos, i was able to close a deal at 38.3k for 09 tech, before TTL, around 41k out the door at the end of december. I also got the .9% financing, and charged 2.5k on the credit card for pts...every little bit counts . Good luck.

I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger on one of them. My current car does not have an extended warranty, which I regret, so for the MDX, I definitely want to purchase one for it. Replying to: dltl (Jan 17, 2009 8:53 pm) It's a AcuraCare warranty good at any Acura dealership. I had an 05 mdx and the battery died - the extended warranty included roadside assistance, too. Tim at hondacuraworld.com filled out the paper work for me when I traded my 05 and faxed it to me so I could get my prorated refund. I can't recommend him highly enough.   Note that on the warranties, the $0 deductible warranty costs $100 more than the $100 deductible warranty. I can't figure out why anyone would want a $100 deductible warranty, as you are worse off if you use it two times.   Make sure you call or e-mail Tim for the accurate prices. Test drove a '09 MDX and absolutely love it!! Of course, I sat down afterwards and got an initial quote of $48K w/ tech and entertainment package (includes TTL). No thanks!! Guess they don't realize how many of us educate ourselves on Edmund's.   Looked online at a dealership in Sarasota that still has quite a few new '08 MDX's. Also noticed the $4000 cash to dealer incentive Edmund's has listed. With this incentive are you able to reduce the negotiated price another $4K?   Also, if anyone has any experience w/ good deals in Florida please let me know. I'm willing to drive just about anywhere in FL or even GA to get a good deal. I am in the market for an 09 MDX. I know last month they had the 2k cash back and the special financing. My salesman told me I missed out and they usually have this special deal after the holidays. I never really shopped for an Acura before but is this true? I don't believe so but just want others who are familiar with Acura deals. I am not in a rush to buy at all. I would like to wait til this current deal is over in February and see if they will bring both specials back. Any opinions are appreciated.
