I had the same experience. Only quotes on the phone and wanted a credit card to hold a price. They told me the 0.9 / 2.9 financing was ending on 1/1 instead of 1/4.
And then they tried to pull the destination charge extra (who does that?)
I paid 35,2K for a base at Bernardi, great no pressure experience, they even went to NJ to get the color I wanted. (none in NE)
where do I get acura accessories? I need a cheap cargo line and winter mats..Thanks.

I've had great luck with accessories at hondacuraworld.com - they don't charge any shipping, but do charge $3.95 handling charge on each order (not each thing bought).
Very nice guys too.

These are the quotes I got from a local dealer.

2009 MDX - $35,255+Tax & Licensing fees (MSRP $41,550) (Invoice $38,180.37)
2009 MDX Technology Package - $38,800+Tax & Licensing fees (MSRP $45,600) (Invoice $41,852.91)
2009 MDX Technology & Entertainment Package - $40,310+Tax & Licensing fees (MSRP $47,350) (Invoice $43,439.81)
2009 MDX Sport & Entertainment Package - $42,140+Tax & Licensing fees (MSRP $49,450) (Invoice $45,344.09)

Are these good prices? I'm assuming they're decent, but which dealer advertises prices without anticipating any wiggle room. To me, I feel that there is still some more room, but I'm not sure how much...

Those are good prices. Where have you seen them advertised? I've called around to dealerships and let them know I'm price shopping and gotten quotes of at least 500 higher. Haven't negotiated yet. Are you sure those prices include destination?

These are good prices but the prices for all trims are $500 higher than the consumer reports suggested bottom line price. On top of invoice less incentives, the dealer holdback starts from $1230 to $1467 from base model to sport/ent.
Also, I am sure they will not honor Special Financing(0.9% to 2.9%) per the quote you received. If you need special honda financing, then the price would be $2000 more for any trim.

For accessories and extended warranty, you can shop at Bernardi Warranty.com who is the cheapest based on my search so far.

I went to Herb Connolly today. They quoted a price of 35, 605( including aftermarket DVD, wheel locks, and all weather mats). 39 mo/10k lease for 498+tax(522) with a upfront fee of 2600(inclusive of all fees). Moneyfactor of 0.00250.
They told me the deal is only good for today. Please let me know is this a good deal? Would like to know the lease deals from Bernadi Acura other acura dealers around Boston. Thanks in Advance.

Dealer near me with 5 new 08's left. Any idea what current incentives are? Can you combine cash incentive with financing on remaining 08's?

Thanks in advance.

they did before about 2-3 months ago on 08's...but you'd have to ask the dealer if it can be combined, because its still a helluva good deal to combine both apr and dealer cash back

Anytime a dealer tells you a deal is "just for today," walk away right then and there. On the way out the door ask them what is so special about today-is it his birthday? There is always a better deal the next day or the day after. Let them know that you will not be pressured. I had a dealer tell me last week that the deal he was offering was only for today. I told him I wasn't prepared to make any decisions today and that if he wanted to do business with me he would have to wait. I got an email 3 days later with a lower quote.

I realize you posted this yesterday so I may be too late, but I hope not.

Good luck!
