This forum has helped me in my car buying. So I'm helping back. I purchased 2009 MDX base for ($35,5k) $38k drive out + 0.9% financing for 36 months. I thought I got a fair deal from Houston's champion acura from brandon. He was really nice and easy and quick to deal with which we all want. In and out. They don't advertise the $2k incentive and $holdbacks but you can ask for them. Special financing is still available. Good luck to you. Bought a base model on 1/2/09   MSRP $41550 Price Paid: $35,680 + TTL + 2.9% for 60 mos. Philly Suburb, PA   This was a great deal considering the price on some of the low-mileage used ones. Tech package was not worth it to me, although I am sure would be nice to have. Wish it had another power outlet in the front (phone and NAV!!). The ride is great, it is very comfortable and the voice activated Hands Free link for the cell phone is nice!   If you are interested in this deal, let me know. My local dealer now gives me a quote of $39k for a base model, and told me that before Jan. 5th, the $2000 and 0.9% could be combined, but not longer so now. Replying to: suspendmix (Jan 04, 2009 6:08 pm) Looks like there is still a $4000 incentive for any remaining 08 MDXs, Edmund's inventory search still seams to pull up about 13 in the great SF Bay Area though most are Sport and or Entertainment packages. Not combineable with .9 - 2.9% financing though. I'm loving my new MDX! Good luck!

How nice of them.   For the $$ I think the Highlander is starting to look a lot more attractive....   I expect the economy to worsen and unemployment will continue to grow and peek sometime this summer. As consumer confidence tanks the deals will get better by memorial day. Till then, I can wait.

I was looking for an MDX in December 2008. I ended up buying a Certified Used 2008 Base MDX. It had 10,000 on it and looked like it had never been driven. Perfect condition. I negotiated the price down to $29K plus TTL. I got the 4.9% financing and the bumper to bumper warranty that comes with the Certified Used Acuras. I think some of the best deals you can get are on Certifed Used vehicles with 10,000 or less miles.
