Replying to: accordmq (Nov 27, 2008 10:02 pm) so it looks like i got a reasonable deal 33.2K for a base with extra of roof rail, wheel lock, weather mat and cargo tray. I think i need to get a cargo cover from online store. can not understand why tech pkg is so popular here, 3K+ for a navigation and rear camera is way too much. |

Madooba, as for recommended accessories, I'd suggest looking into the side moldings, side steps/running boards, roof rack rails, and all-weather mats as suggested options. |

Just paid $37,188 for a demo with Tech and Ent in Atlanta. Did I do well? Took advantage of the 2.9% financing as well. |

Hey guys, I haven't seen nearly as much on the 2009 deals...Here's the offer I got today at my local dealership. 2009 with the Tech Package -- from $44,700 down to $42,100 (dealer says they are only making $150 over invoice). 36 month lease The Acura.com ad shows that it's possible to get a 36 month lease for $499 per month so I'm still not sure how they can advertise such a low figure? Tax and fees weren't exactly made clear to me. Also, I was told that the 50% residual value for the lease calculation is non-negotiable, is that truthful? I can't afford $700 for a new MDX but might be able to stretch to $550...any tricks out there to possibly make this work? By the way, I test drove the Pilot (Touring edition) but wasn't overly impressed and would probably rather go with the 2009 Mountaineer since i can get into one for $500 on a lease.

Replying to: Madooba (Nov 26, 2008 6:47 am) as far as the acc goes...there are no "must haves" its your taste and lifestyle.. Check out acuramdx.org and see how/what can be done to MDX... As far as options go....here are what I think are must haves...and that Acura should have included in base 1) Proximity sensor...camera is not good enough 2) Power tailgate...extremely convinient...I totally disagree with dishwash on this. This is one one of the options that will make you say "how did i live without it" 2) Roof rails...its an SUV.. Sanjay |

Replying to: Madooba (Nov 26, 2008 6:47 am) Just took delivery today of a Formal Black MDX w/ Sport & Entertainment Pkgs., ebony leather interior, and MANY accessories. Here was my deal: walked in yesterday and this completely tricked-out beauty was sitting on the showroom floor. Chrome side-steps and roof rack made it stand out. Then saw wood/perf-leather steering wheel and shift knob, autobond front-end treatment, all weather mats, etc. and called for the sales manager. The car was his for a little over two months. 4000 miles. It was stunning, and just what l wanted, so l said, let's do business. Sticker was $53,046.00 and l signed the deal for $48,900.00. He gave the following concessions: Increased my warranty to 56,000 miles from 50,000. Free oil change/filter for 4yr/56,000 miles. Free loaner for same. etc.... I was, and am, VERY happy! |
