Replying to: jstbghtmdx (Nov 22, 2008 7:41 am) I learnt the 0.9% financing on 2008 MDX (ends 12/1) and the price on the market from this thread. Jumped in for a Tech model for below $36,000 last Saturday. I started with the initial price from $35,500 at home (talking over the phone) as jstbghtmdx posted here. Dealer got back with a price between $35,500 and $36,000. Then I took it. I'm in the San Francisco bay area. There are not too many 2008 model left in south bay. But there are still some in the surrounding area as not far as to Sacramento area. -- I didn't go that far but e-mailed them. I do not post the specific dealer here. -- I think you may get a good deal from any dealer if they still have one in the lot. One more point: do not pay the destination charge. It's included already. Good luck and keep posting! |

| You are right petert. I was wondering why the dealer quoted a higher msrp as compared to edmunds, and i did the math, and $760 was the difference. it was the destination the dealer included in the price. I was quoted a particular price + an additional $760. he tried to get me, but didn't!! | |

Hi All, I'm about to pull the trigger the trigger on a 2009 MDX Sport w/ Entertainment Package. Was doing my research in the Maryland area and the best deal I got was $45,500 which includes the destination fee. Is this the best price I can get these days? I want to take advantage of the current financing deal. Would also appreciate any input on accessories that are "must haves" for the MDX. Thanks! |

Replying to: sanjaysdca (Nov 21, 2008 3:08 pm) Last week I start negotiation with a local dealer at 32K for a base but even failed the deal at 32.5K. The deal baiscally said 1) they can not compete with CA price, as CA dealer has much higher volume to profit with. 2) the local dealer said following options ared added and they don't want to pay technican again to uninstalled it: Roof Rail: $320 protection package ($450): extra all-season floor mat, cargo tray, cargo mat, wheel lock eventually we agreed the price on 33.2K+75 doc fee + title, no sale tax in our state. after driving home, i just find I miss the following, 1) tire is Bridgestone instead of michellin on the demo car 2) there is no cargo cover. what tire do you guys get and does the base price include the cargo cover? thanks.

Replying to: accordmq (Nov 27, 2008 10:02 pm) so it looks like i got a reasonable deal 33.2K for a base with extra of roof rail, wheel lock, weather mat and cargo tray. I think i need to get a cargo cover from online store. can not understand why tech pkg is so popular here, 3K+ for a navigation and rear camera is way too much. |

Replying to: dishwash42 (Nov 26, 2008 4:02 pm) The only way to buy a MDX today WITHOUT the power tailgate is to buy the Base model. Madooba, as for recommended accessories, I'd suggest looking into the side moldings, side steps/running boards, roof rack rails, and all-weather mats as suggested options. |

Just paid $37,188 for a demo with Tech and Ent in Atlanta. Did I do well? Took advantage of the 2.9% financing as well. |
