$38,300 without any negotiating for a tech+ent seems a little too good to be true. Id be surprised if they didnt tack on random fees once you got there or something. The 39,422 is pretty much the same as what I paid for mine, but I used the financing so +$1000 and added about $1500 in accessories and was out the door at 42k+tax I think you can pretty much get every dealer down to that right now, and anything beyond it is gravy. |

Hi all...am in socal (LA) and am looking to buy an MDX soon. I will wait for the weekend (Aug 2) but wanted to know if there are dealers / sales people some of you been to that you felt happy dealing with and gave you a good deal? A year ago i went to the santa monica one and the experience was bad. Looking to buy one with the sport/ent pkg. I think a price around 42K + taxes/stuff might be good. what do you think? Also the 3.9/60 mo APR will be good.....let me know your thoughts. Much appriciated. |

| Purchased a Steel Blue Base MDX from Prime Acura North Hampton, NH on 7/29 for 34,900. Very easy dealer to work with. Got a great price on my trade too. Added roof rails, side molding and all weather mats. Molding and rails give it a complete look. Still good inventory left and someone had traveled down from Vermont to purchase their car while I was there. | |

| I realize this may not be the right forum for this question but this is the most active MDX board and I didn't see another that's more appropo, so please indulge me: I picked up a 2008 MDX (tech/ent) last week (using the advice here I got a pretty good deal in Dallas, TX). What I cannot figure out is how to make the "woman" stop announcing every time I change the radio station (and instead of just saying "820 am" she yells "EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY AM!"), change CDs, etc. It's driving me mad! So, any help is appreciated. Thanks. | |

Thank you for getting all the information. I got 2008 Base MDX(Dark cherry color) for 33,700. I got ok deal for trade-in car. This is from NJ area. They said the total tax is 7.4% for Acura MDX.(7% regular and 0.4 for luxury cars) Is this true that 0.4% more for MDX??? This is the invoice: Total Price:33700 Trade-in:5200 Total Taxable Amount:28500 state sales tx:1995 NJ Supplemental Titling Fee:134.80 Tire Tax:7.50 Reg/Title Fee:373 Documentary Fee:349 Total PAY-OFF:31359.30 My question is "NJ Supplemental Titling Fee" is valid one or not? Documentary Fee is high or low?? Thanks for any reply to my questions in advance.

When I showed up tonight they bring out a white over taupe sport. I said - "no, I though you reserved the black/ebony?" Then they bring out a Tech Black/Ebony.... Again - I say - I'd like to see the car I'm purchasing - they start in with the baloney: "Oh - its on another lot"... "O.k., I respond - I'll wait for you to go get it..." - Lo and behold -the guy's manager comes out and tells me: OK - we've agreed to 40,900 base price - I show him the email thread below... He goes and chats with "X Y" who comes over and joins us - he claims to have made a mistake - I responded: "Tough - you had every opportunity to put the proper pricetag on - I asked you to confirm it was the base model and you said it was the sport - I refer to Sport multiple times in the email" - blah blah blah... Just walked out after that point. So irritated - I'm considering contacting a lawyer... The price is super low - but when I asked him to confirm and he responded it was the Sport - I figured it was the real deal and I went down there...
