Just picked up my 2008 MDX sport & entertainment. Sterling grey with taupe. I added roof rack, bars, side molding, leather/wood shifter and front/rear garnish. I must say the front/rear garnish is my favorite. It really makes the car stand out, have not seen it on any other one around. It is a satiny aluminum finish that compliments the grille in front and the chrome exhaust in back. My deal was $45K (including destination charge) & ttl. Got the car through a broker in So. Cal, Okuma Enterprises. If you have never used a broker I would highly recommend it. No haggling, they absolutely work the best deal possible with the dealers in our area and deliver the car to your door. You never have to set foot in a dealership. They also get the accessories at wholesale and install them themselves, no dealer markup on either. So far in my one day with the car it is meeting all the expectations I had. It is absolutely a screaming deal for the money you pay.

Replying to: cpisano (Jul 03, 2008 12:47 pm) the reason that you have not seen it on any other one around is because it is a lame accessory. not as bad as the leather/wood shifter, but come'on - front/rear garnish??? sheesh.

Lately I have seen a few low-mileage used 2008 MDXs around and am wondering whether I should focus on a brand new 2008 or opt for a slightly used low-mileage 2008. Long-term bumper-to-bumper warranty is a must for me in either case, and would appreciate if some experienced buyer could give me some advice on my dilemma. I am in New Jersey (with 7% sales tax) and was wondering if someone has had some good/bad experience with some particular Acura dealers in New Jersey. Thanks. Harish Chandra |

hi, Been looking for a while and found an MDX sport with PTG for $39,900. Seems like a pretty good offer. the pricing looks to be around invoice plus $2500 incentive. Just want to make sure there are no other incentives around that will bring that price down. thks.

I am deciding between Acura MDX or Lexus RX350. I will be happy with either car, but want to buy one that is a better deal. I was trying to follow several pages of posts, but it’s hard to know if the price people quote includes all the junk fees (documentation, destination, dealer, etc.). Is it feasible to get MDX for $2500 under invoice? Robocop1 was able to purchase Acura MDX +Entrainment Package for $39,715. I assume that includes everything except tag/title/taxes. What should be my target price for MDX 2008+Tech+Ent be in Atlanta? From what I can tell, $1k “marketing” incentive and special financing will be gone June 7. Monday should be a good day to negotiate. Thank you in advance for any advice! |
