Replying to: jsp5 (Jun 24, 2008 6:36 am) I would have liked to wait but circumstances prevented me from doing so. The dealer I bought from had 149 MDXs in stock. In this market I can't imagine that they could move them quickly - 2009 models arrive in Sept. That' has got to worry a bunch of people!!!! I think the incentive will bet better in July. Replying to: rjs5 (Jun 30, 2008 12:15 pm) I just got offered a 2008 mdx with tech pkge and power liftgate for 39,500, includes everything but sales tax and tag transfer. what do you think, am suppose to go saturday for second test drive, do you think I can get rails and step bars included, I tried other dealers but they didn't have the color in and out in stock. thanks

Ok everyone, finally decided to purchase an 08 Acura MDX Tech with Entertainment (DVD, power tailgate, etc.) package. Because of this fourm and working on dealers to compete with each other I was able to get the selling price for -- $39,000 !!!! (after 2,000 dealer cash incentive). I had to pay the $715 dest charge and sales tax and reg (6% - high in Texas), But was VERY HAPPY with the Sales Price. I ended up adding tint front 2 windows and body side molding. I would think you could get this price and maybe even an accessory or two since they should be desparate in July and August. I just bought because I really wanted silver color and there were only 2 in the Area. Also, I really would not buy any accessories (mats, wheel locks, cargo net, cargo cover or tray, etc.) from Acura dealer as there are a few website companies than can beat the price for genuine acura accessories. Only advice I need now is who to buy extended warrantly from as my dealer offered 1,830 for 7 year 100K miles which seems high. Paid $34,600 (includes dest.) + TTL, total drive out was approx $37,200.
