I was hoping the dealers would be very anxious to deal, but so far only one dealer out of five has expressed any interest in my offer. He told me wait until July to see if the incentives improve. We'll see. Meanwhile I have a deposit on another vehicle, in case the MDX doesn't work out.

2008 MDX Tech w/PTG

Got this quote today:
$37,900
plus tax, title, destination
**This is already inclusive of the $2000 cash incentive that ends 6/30

Deal or no deal? Should I wait until July? I'm in no rush anyways.

Good Deal On A Base? by hpowders

A dealer just e-mailed me with the following offer:

The base MDX at invoice of $37,229 with 36 months financing of 0.9%. ( I asked for this financing, but was hoping for a lower price).

They absolutely will not give any cash back rebates with the 0.9% financing. If you want $36229 or lower, one must deal with much higher interest rates.

Any opinions? Good deal?

Why would you want the base when you can have the Tech w/ PTG for approximately $50 more a month. Tech w/ PTG goes for $37,800 without Honda financing or $38,800 with Honda financing + tax, license, and fees.

Seems an OK deal not too great

Here is Southern CA I was quoted 34800 for base and 38000 for Tech.
Both were Cash deal...No financing..First offer from dealer..No negotiations YET....

May be you should take a look at the interest rate outside Honda Finance...might be better overall.

Check with Bonnie at Los Gatos Acura. I found her price to be better than most. Tell her Philip refers you as I am still working with her on a deal.
