Replying to: fxcai (May 15, 2008 8:54 am) the tech package is a factory option pkg- basically the base plus nav, backup camera and premium (allegedly) audio system. I can tell no difference between the stereo in the tech pkg and the base stereo. You buy the tech pkg for the nav system. The entertainment pkg adds the DVD/video player and heated rear seats.   All season mats and wheel locks are separate dealer installed options. Sometimes they are included along with the all season trunk mat and the mud guards in what dealers call the pro or protection package- again, a dealer installed (and largely profit motivated) option.

here is what I have received from different dealers in houston: 1. Jonh Eagle: $39,489 (MDX tech w/o power liftgate)+doc fee ($499)+ttl 2. Champions Acura: $39,102 (tech+power liftgate)+doc+ttl                                 $40,598 (tech+ent+power lift)+doc+ttl 3. Sterling Mccall Acura: $39,998 (tech w/o power lift)+doc+ttl   All these are based on after $2000 rebate. If you care about 2.9% APR then just add $2000 to it. This was their first quote to me before any negotiation. I will start sending quotes to each other ...lets see how it goes. Question: do you know which dealer is the best in Houston area? Replying to: rodeodawg (Jun 21, 2002 10:39 pm) I just purchased an MDX today in the Pacific Northwest. It is a new 2008 with the Sport (which includes Tech) and the Entertainment Packages. I received a $4800 discount from MSRP: $2200 manufacturer money and $2600 dealer discount.
