| I'll be buying an Acura MDX by end of year in Memphis. Stopped by Acura of Memphis and got the runaround (salesman, sales mgr, general mgr), only to be offered $1000 off sticker. Anyone have any better luck? May go to Jackson, MS where I bought my '04. | |

There's a reason why we didn't buy our second MDX at Libertyville. We took our business to Pauly in Highland Park and had a night and day experience. With the 2003, Libertyville proved easy because every dealership was charging MSRP and they happened to have the right color combo. Flash forward to last year with our 2006 and the run-around I got from Libertyville was obnoxious. I guess they assumed in their dealer quote that I didn't know about the dealer incentives Honda was giving the Acura dealers to move out the 2006 models. When I called them on their false price quote, all of a sudden "they knew exactly what I was talking about" and matched my quotes from Muller and Pauly. Sorry, too late. If you're still in the market and haven't let Libertyville tarnish your Acura perception, head over to Pauly. |

Anyone have a recommendation for a dealer within 100 miles of Pittsburgh? Baierl Acura has about a dozen MDX's on the lot-- half of them '07s-- yet the salesman keeps telling me how great business has been, that he's not allowed to sell an '07 MDX anywhere near invoice, blah, blah, blah.... Considering the recent noise regarding credit tightening and housing downturn, I should think invoice plus $500 is a reasonable offer for any remaining 2007 (I am flexible on color and trim level). I can pay cash, but I'm sure I qualify for the low financing offers (extended through early October). Thoughts? |

I liked the Cherry with black interior; they found me one that was slated to be built and rerouted it to their dealership. You also can try Park in Akron and Acura of Cleveland. I'm pretty sure I could have done better price wise there, but the Erie dealership is under 5 min from my home and was willing to get me the color combo I wanted. Let me know if you have any questions about them.

Got the 2007 MDX for 36800 from Acura Boston. However I had to pay a document preparation fee of 295. I was told thats non negotiable. Is that true ?
