I live in Norcross, GA. I tried this from Acura carland. Can Any one help me to justify myself that, am i not agreed more on it? I still have to accept the car purchase, as the car is not yet the dealer place and they are going to bring it on Tuesday. If I feel am paying more on it, can I cancel this deal? I have paid $ 500.00 as advance. What will happen in case of I get back out of this offer.

Thanks for your kind suggestions.

After combing through this forum, I finally bought my MDX with Tech package from Hopkins Acura, Fairfield for $39,325 + TTL. I negotiated the price via e-mail and over the phone, and went to the dealership to buy the car. There was no pressure to buy any accessories/extended warranty. Sales manager and general manager were very nice people to deal with.

Overall, it was a very good buying experience and worth a drive from South Bay.

2008 MDX - new MPG ratings by go_mdx1

Saw 3 new 2008 MDXs on the lot today. In addition to the minor changes posted earlier, there are also new MPG numbers for the MDX: 15 and 20. This is a drop of 2 MPG from 2007. I can't see this helping the Acura sales guys as a bunch of "number crunchers" doing comparo's of SUVs on edmunds will now see MPG as a distinct disadvantage for the MDX.

Secondly, if you are considering a 2007 vs. 2008, you best be looking for at least a $2000 price difference. If not, go with the 2008 as you will get your return on your money when you re-sale. This can be evidenced when you look at a 2001 vs. 2002 MDX on Kelly's Blue Book using same mileage/condition.

The lower MPG is due to the new EPA ratings. This will affect cars across the board. See Edmund's Article:

Lower gas mileage numbers don't mean thirstier cars

Hi Dekathari,

Please look at my msg in 5314. What do you suggest for my case? Can I cancel that deal and go for a new deal with this dealer or with any other one? Thanks for your advice in advance.

You may be right -- I looked at the page she faxed me again and it says "RDX" on the tab. Since it's a fax, I can't flip the page. She's out for the holiday, so I can't confirm the information. I did buy a MDX however.
