Of course we never got a response to the email I sent the sales manager describing the poor experience we had. I emailed Costco and told them as well. This weekend, friends of ours told us that they only service their car in Bellevue, they never buy there. Corworkers confirmed that the sales staff and sales management is mostly miss, with an occasional hit. We have an appointment to see Acura of Seattle Wednesday and hopefully purchase the vehicle. At least on the phone, they were pleasant. Hoping to get a Sport package at $800 over invoice with some DIO on top of that.

If we buy the MDX I plan on taking quotes from dealers within 300 miles and not even dealing with regular sales staff. 2%-3% over invoice on any car that's been on the market for over a year is a fair price unless there simply isn't enough supply. |

Looking at getting an MDX. From all i can tell, the tech package is included within the sports package. Is this correct?

Picked up my Blue Tech (on 7/23) for 40K including destination. Actually made the deal on 6/30/07 (end of month and quarter). Blue was my first choice and black second. Was set to pick up a black tech but then there is the small issue of the active head restraint redesign on all MDX's made June & later. The black was built in May. So the dealer showed me they had a black and a blue (both taupe)coming in mid-July. I put down a few bucks to hold the car - and wound up with my #1 color / interior choice. During the wait, Honda added the 4.99 % for 60 months deal - which beat my best rate by 1%. Pretty damn good dealer experience overall. Man - what a great ride. Still "learning" all the features. Getting the homelink to work was a little funky - had to press learn on my garage opener unit (not the remote) cause of the rolling code. Anyway - fight for a good deal. |

My 1st post here so here goes nothing....Thought I'd share my experience/price with South Bay Acura. 1st off, working with Jerry Ede was well worth the trouble of driving out 50 miles, even when I had 4 other dealerships within 15 miles of my home....standup guy and his wife is great too!!! The whole negotiation was done via email. The price: 07 MDX Nimbus Gray/Taupe Tech/Ent. No frills, no dealer added accessories: $40,400 + $670 destination.

Hi, anyone know where I can get a good deal in Dallas for a Tech/Ent MDX? I'm willing to travel to Austin, or Houston for a good deal. |
