Send an e-mail via Edmunds to 8 or so Acura dealers - three quotes are just at $500 over invoice including $670 destination (one from Milwaukee area and the others from Chicago area). My area dealer in Libertyville (IL) or in Milwaukee (WI) will sell MDX with the premium (i.e. base Package) at $37,436 (includes the $670 destination). Tech package is also sold at $40,604 (includes destination). I must say that these were just after I only spend 5 minutes e-mailing. I assume I can go lower easily by $150 to 200 (as another dealer in IL called me [as opposed to e-mailing] and will beat the others by $150 or 5% of difference). So in a nut shell for those of you out there, DO NOT PAY anything more than $500 over invoice. I used a similar strategy 2 yrs ago to buy my Infiniti FX at $300 over invoice. MDX will be the wife’s car.   P.S. I liked the MDX very much as it has a supremely comfortable ride and top crash scores better than almost anything out there including NOW updated IIHS rear crash (which earned top marks). But it does not have the reflexes (i.e., steering) or the rapid pick up of my FX. I also think Acura can learn a few exterior design lessons from other luxury cars, making their exteriors Stunning as opposed to just plane polarizing. Despite my minor complaints, it is among the best crossovers out there.

Can you please post a URL?   They said they'd include all weather floor mats, a cargo try and wheel locks. The total MSRP of just these 3 is less than what they quoted so I am going to find out what all they added.   I am happy with the price, regardless. The front page does say "2007 MDX Accessories".   In any case, I know what you mean by adding these packages. I just got a quote for a 2007 MDX w/tech. $41003+TTL and it included auto dimming rear view mirror (not sure I really need it) plus some type of protection package. The dealer said it was a $700+ value and he was giving it to me for $615.

I am interested in the 2007 MDX. I didn't go through the internet, I really don't want 4 dealers calling me every day. I got what I think is a good quote in the Washington DC area, please let me know what you think.   MDX Sport with body side molding and roof rack (no crossbars) for $42,500. The dealer is adding $299 processing charge, not sure what that is?   Can I do better?   Thanks

No professionalism whatsoever. Worst than below average used car dealers.   I guess it's just different luck with different buyer ...   For future buyers - just beware .. don't let Acura of Seattle treat you like they treated me ..
