I tried to get his thoughts on buying the same during the memorial day sale and he was some what not sure if I could get below invoice even during the memorial day sale. Any of the car makers are not ready to offer good APR's even during the "good sale day" (Like Memorial Day) for SUV's but offer a good APR for small car sector in thier make/market, Like sedans and so. Acura MDX 2006 was and is being offered at APR 3.99% even today. So, can you expect that they will offer 2.99% APR during the memorial day! My personal thought for all:- During my car buying process (even today as the car has not yet been delivered to me. Delivery is on 05/03/2007)) I am learning new methods and tricks dealers use to hit you, that to badly to keep your money or take money from your pockets. Don't trust the talk they have with you or do with you, turst the paper they write upon only. Remember that they are not your common/daily friends/family members to provide trust for you. After going through the process of buying a car, I decided to help those in the market to buy cars by making them aware of few tricks I know off. 1. Always take a BUDDY with you and ask your buddy to engage any other person trying to talk to the buyer during the Purchase. The buyer need to concentrate on the paper work. 2. Don't go to the dealership late in the day or 2 hours before the close of business to make your purchase. 3. For negotiations go late in the evening. 4. For buying go early in the morning such that you have pently of time to read and decide to sign the purchase order. 5. Take your laptop to connect to the internet for anything the sales person tries to sell you during the purchase order. 6. Just tell the finance guy, please give me the purchase order with all the numbers in it. I will read it completely and then get back to you - I mean go the cafe at the dealership - connect to internet - check all the listed prices in the market - check if the listed prices are applied because of state or federal law - if not you have the option of asking them to take them out from your purchase order. - talk to your friends about the listed items - take other dealership numbers - discuss the charges they put on your purchase order with other dealers if in doubt. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING AFTER YOU REACH THE FINANCE GUY - LIKE THE WAX PACKAGE - PROTECTION PACKAGE and so on - just tell " no no no no" to everything the finance guy tries to offer you. Don't trust the marketing words the finance or senior sales guy doing your purchase order telling you during the write up. Happy shopping!

The lowest quote that I have in hand is 400 below invoice and open-road Wayne wants to beat it. But I'm not ready to buy right now due to personal reasons. Not everyone has enough time like me.

The dealer must be desperate. Shopping around my area, the current best price I get is $2500 above invoice. Do you have the name and email of the salesperson you bought it from? Btw, what color did you get? |
