Open road .Wayne and E-brunswick.
Online quote will be around 700 more than invoice. U can bargain to make it close to invoice. Basically tell them u need that price but with dest included.

I can well afford a 50k vehicle and one of the ways I accumulated my wealth was saving on a few items, especially ones that depreciate, such as a car. $1000 is $1000. Paying an extra grand for a car is equivalent to handing some sales guy an extra 1000 dollar bill. Its my money and I don't just hand out extra 1000s to car dealers.

The point of my post was that not everyone can get the same deal. Just because a dealer in New Jersey will sell a hot car at invoice price doesn't mean that someone in Atlanta can get the same deal.

The best deals are on cars that aren't selling well. If you are looking at a hot import sometimes you don't have any choice but to pay MSRP or close to it. If you aren't in a hurry then sometimes it pays to wait a year for things to settle down and then you find that dealers are more willing to negotiate.

In the end though, if the car you really want can only be had for $1000 more than a guy in another part of the country is paying, does it really matter if it gets you what you want?

MDX with Sport and Entertainment Package in Easton, PA by soniyam

Has anyone bought the MDX in Eastern PA, especially around the Easton area? If so, for how much over Invoice. There are only a few Acura dealers around here, and the Internet price at the LeHigh Valley Acura was about $45,865 for Sport/Ent, still about 2500 over invoice. I'm willing to buy it in Jersey but if so, do I pay the Jersey tax or the PA tax?

Apreciate any info you have. Hadn't planned on buying this car until next year but my 02 Altima's engine pretty much died and now I need a car ASAP.

I decided I wnated to buy the MDX when I went shopping with my wife for her RDX. I want the tech/ent package about 2 months ago MD dealers were at 44-45K w/o dest. The dealer told me to wait till summer, there will be less demand. Now he called me and said that 43.4K w/dest would be the price. That's about a 2K drop in 2months. I think the demad is slowing or stock is catching up. Im targeting end of May or July 4th.

Anyone have direction on how to swap out the steering wheel for the wood grain steering wheel?

I just bought a base mdx in chesapeake, va Priority Acura. It was $36,800 plus dealership fees of $399 plus state tax and registration fees. It totalled $38,446. I mentioned an email quote I got from Springfield, NJ and asked them to match it. They did and we were finished with pricing process in 10min.

Wonderful salesperson. Very fast, no hassle. No hassle about accessories or about financing. I will buy all cars in the future from Priority especially priority acura. This edmunds forum helped me a lot. Thanks.

NOLA(new orleans) walker acura dealership gave only $1000 off of MSRP. Thats after 1hr where the salesperson went to the manager three times and came back to us whispering that he did not want the manager hearing him tell us that he felt we could get another $100 off if we came back tomorrow.

Salesperson not very enthusiastic or helpful initially. Had about 15 mdx's on the lot. MDX's came with accessories that we could not bargain on or remove. Needless to say we purchased the MDX elsewhere.

I bought the 2007 Acura MDX base model (aspen white) today for $37400+ $150 for title/registration plus tax. Paid another $2510 for Acura care 8yr/120K extended warranty. The lowest FINANCE APR I was able to get was 5.99% for 60 months.

Here is the breakup-
$37400 + PA state tax of $2618 + $150 for title/registration + $2510 for extended warranty- TOTAL $42668.

IS THIS A GOOD DEAL? I guess it is a stupid question to ask since I already bought the vehicle!
