I am amazed that they haven't caught on by now. Their diatribe of repressed markets and other excuses did little to deter me from getting the car I wanted and the price I was willing to pay for it. The best part was 2 weeks after I drove it home, they emailed me to check my interest if they threw in all weather mats..... ahhh, the joy of emailing him back that I had already purchased thousands below his best pricing and with the mats.   What was the break down of your deal in Maryland? I just picked up a silver Sport for $43,750. Added sport running boards and D/N mirror for $500, $250 doc fees, $25.50 title & tags and 7.5% state tax out the door for $47,863. I came in $1,000 above Consumer Reports dealer cost ($41,075). Didn't haggle very hard. I'm pretty easy going and so were they. All over the phone with the internet contact at Park Acura in Akron, OH. AMAZING ride! I would say you overpaid by 2500. ( 2000 if dest charge was included in you 43,750).

Bought at Buerkle Acura in Minneapolis, MN and had the best buying experience ever. I have a Sport in Black. The vehicle is exceeding my expectations in every way. My advice: Go buy one and quit worrying about a couple hundred bucks. Besides, if you beat the dealers up too badly, it'll hurt the resale.
