Replying to: rush1169 (Dec 30, 2006 2:35 pm) The story he gave me was that there is some sales race going on and they want to be number one, so they are taking something off MSRP. Come Jan 1st, prices go back to MSRP. Anyway, I am happy This is in the Seattle, WA area. |

just bought a 07 nimbus gray MDX Ent/Tech + chrome side steps, roof rails and cross bars. haggled down to 44,000 + tax/title/etc.. for all of that. what do you all think? I got MSRP for that from multiple internet sources (acura website, edmunds, kbb, etc..) and it was in the ballpark of just over 47,000. this was DCH montclair. hope this helps. happy negotiating. jp

Replying to: impayler (Dec 31, 2006 6:50 am) i cant name the rep per the regulations on this website, but it was DCH Montclair Acura in Verona, NJ. just resist the temptation to buy all the other "extras" the business guys try to force down your throat. no matter how sweet they make it sound, just dont get it. i made the mistake and later on realised the error and asked them I wanted to redo the financing to get rid of all those extras. they weren't happy but they had no choice. good luck! jp |

I live in Northern VA. I think dealers are making deals now--at least from the earlier posts in this thread. I had a pretty "easy" negotiation with a Northern VA dealer for an '07 MDX with Sport package, roof rack and rails, auto mirror and sport running boards. Price was just north of $44K, with an all in cost right around $46K. The dealer did mention that prices would "rise" beginning of '07--prices down now do dealer could make certain quotas and incentives. Just passing along for what it's worth. |

Replying to: jacob0218 (Dec 18, 2006 10:34 pm) $39,200 (rounded figure) 670 destination charge 1,000 mark-up 40,870 Total without accessories 42,250 Final Price with accessories and destination charge Our accessories included: roof rail/crossbar, running board, cargo cover, cargo mat, all season mats, "free" wheel locks). Retail value of accessoires is over $2,000. Note 1: I did not have a trade-in. Note 2: Negotiate the price of the Acura Care Extended Warranty if you intend to buy it. Buy before close of business day Jan 2, 2007 since this is the end of their fiscal year - they want to boost their sales record. The MDX is really quite nice. I personally feel I got it at an excellent price being a new release, but I hope you get a better deal...if so, please let me know for kicks. Good luck!
