I too shopped Flow motors exactly a year ago for a new 2005 model. Message 2258 I found their prices to be high in comparison to other posts on the site. I also shopped Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Cary and ended up in Fayetteville. I got many songs and dances from dealers trying to tell me that other markets were repressed or some other excuse for the lower price quotes. Basically, I figured it was worth it to drive/fly to Maryland or New York to get it for the price I wanted and had been quoted. That was when I found Fayetteville's Accura dealership (Leith's Clearance Center).

Just got an MDX touring for 36m/10k lease in TX. I think I got a pretty good deal, please comment. My monthly payments including all taxes, license and fees are $480. And, I paid out of the door ONLY the first month's lease figure, $480 that is. No other money down. Selling price was negotiated down to $35,100 and MF was 0.0122. Dealer threw in tinted windows for free as well. Good deal?

Hello! There are more than two Acura dealers in Indiana. There are two in Indianapolis and others in Ft. Wayne ect. Chicago has 6 dealers in the metro area and best price thus far has been 1700 below invoice. I am still early in my negotitions and I see quite a few MDX's where I live (Carmel, In).

Hi! You mean Ed Martin and Hubler at Indy right? I tried Hubler and they wouldn't wanna sell me not even under $1,000 invoice and the sales manager was LYING that they were not getting any "INCENTIVES".(just touring package with iPod link, $36,600 is outrageous! what am I not negotiating well?) Where did you try to get $1700 under invoice? Thanks!

They (dealers) will always lowball your trade and in your case it the relatively high miles. I would get rid of the dings (not expensive and you do not need a body shop) and sell it yourself. I will give you 20800.00 for the car, assuming everything is in great condition. Does it have the 3rd row seating and DVD?
Kbb.com indicated a dealer trade for your SUV is $19,760 (right from their web page picking good condition w/ the miles you stated), hence the $$'s he is offering seem accurate. A dealer will never pay for excellent' condition for your car would have to be PERFECT, ie no dings ect. I have a 1999 BMW 740i with 65K miles and it looks showroom new).

Best of luck re: your decision.

Yes re: Hubler and Ed Martin in Indy. Hubler does not deal and is a low volume dealer. I am talking w/ dealers in the Chicagoland area. Go to the Acura web site and go to the 'find a dealer' are and there is much more compeition in Chicago and hence better deals.

Is anyone getting this deal? I think its nearly impossible for a dealer to say "you've got a deal" to this offer. I mean where is the incentive for the dealer to take the deal or even spend the time in negotiation. Good luck is right.

Just because you are not a good negotiator please don't discourage others from trying. As you can see there are several people on here who got better deals than I did.
