2005 MDX Touring/Nav/RES (Silver/Quartz) with Side Steps installed. $38600 (includes destination) plus tax and DMV fees. Considering an invoice price of $40180 and side steps being worth at least $500 installed, my price was more than $2000 below invoice. Acura of Pleasanton, CA was able to do this when the others dealers in the Bay Area that I contacted wanted about $500 more. The $1500 factory to dealer incentive last until 9/6/05, so this type of pricing should be available for a while longer.

Hello, The dealer is offering me an extended warranty upto 6 years/72K miles for $995. Is that a good deal? I'd like to find out what others have paid for extended warranties from Acura.. Thanks |

I know that this forum is for buying experiences and prices paid so I will limit my discussion to these topics. I had to weigh the features offered with the price of both vehicles. In the end, I decided that for the price, I got the best car for the money in the MDX. Already I am enjoying the navigation system and my children loved the DVD player on our trip. We also liked the XM radio and knowing that we had Onstar on our trip. I would have had to pay a lot more for these features on the XC90 (and I don’t think it comes w/Onstar). So, in terms of “value”, I feel that I got the best value in my purchase of the MDX. You might want to check out some of the other MDX forums here on Edmunds as they are discussing some of your questions. Good luck with making your decision! |

I went to my local Acura dealer and made an offer on leasing a Pearl White 2005 MDX with Nav & Dvd: Vehicle cost $39000 Money factor .00188 $1000 down 36 month / 15k miles They acted like I peed in their pool? Was my offer way out of line? I know that they have $1500 mftr support and they make a little more on the leases so I think that it was a fair offer. Please let me know if I am wrong. Thanks for any and all responses!

Is $37.0k including destination, before TTL a good price? I think so, and sense the price is coming down on these vehicles. Maybe because of the coming 2006 model. Am I off here? Thoughts are appreciated.
