I got quoted $40,500 for this from a dealer in Houston. Does this look like a good price?
I bought two MDXs at John Eagle Acura in Houston (an '01 on March '01 that was traded for an '04 in Jan '04). You should do OK simply emailing their internet sales manager. I have never gotten good offers from Sterling McCall in Houston BTW.

Where in Philly did you get that deal?!! I'm looking for a 05 MDX Touring with the entertainment system and I'm in the DC area. I have yet to go to Pohanka. I've emailed them and I'm hoping to get a good deal.

I have benefited greatly from this message board. Bought my MDX05-Premium at $34,880 on the road, including TTL and everything from Sterling Mccall(SM) here in Houston. Gilman was willing to match any deal but they did not have the vehicle on the lot and was asking for deposit. So, I went back to SM internet manager and told them the price and after lot of discussion they said they will do it. They wanted to get me in without any price commitment but I made them commit (it is easy to do shameless bargaining over the phone). You need to do all the bargaining before hand and do not feel bad to quote at invoice minus $1500 and stick with it. If you have patience they will give in but you have to be in touch with them. Sometimes they don't whether you are a serious buyer or not. Good luck.

Congrats - its amazing to hear everyone's story. I have bought three vehicles from John Eagle (two MDXs and a TL-S; hows that for serious buyer) and in all three instances Sterling McCall would not even come close - two years of free oil changes at John Eagle helps as well. These past few months I've been seriously contemplating a new RL and once again pitted the two internet managers against each other. This time I even went to Sterling and told the guy that this was the 4th Acura I was looking to buy and how bad did he want my business - he still would not deal as John Eagle would ??
I'm glad you got such a good deal there; but I wonder why they won't work with me

I am from Bonney Lake and had horrible deals from the dealers in the Seattle area so we are purchasing from Eugene, Oregon-Kendall Acura. We are getting the base model for $1500 under invoice. Plus they don't add any of the extras and try to charge you for it ($358 for the NW protection Package was what the Seattle area dealers were charging). If you don't mind the drive, go to Oregon. The dealership in Portland was also willing to offer a great deal. The internet guys there were honest and helpful. The dealers in Oregon are all willing to contact the
Washington DMV and figure out tax and licensing for you too. I actually had the dealer from Fife tell me that if I could really get that deal from Oregon that I should take it!. Good luck and let me know if I can help further.

jack26, that's a great deal. Did you need to battle with them to get that price? Did you deal with the internet sales manager? I'm looking for the same, NAV and DVD.

Hi - What exact model did you get from Sterling. I live in Houston and was at Sterling on Monday. Did this have Navi? Did you get a price on a NAVI version?
I really look forward in your reply. How much was the actial TTL too.
sorry for all the questions, but I'm ready to buy too and would like to get the same deal with NAVI. Would love to get the salesman's initials too. thanks

Nope, no salespeople's initials - that would, obviously, violate the spirit of our policy, which is to prohibit soliciting for one's self or for another individual.
