Sorry, that was just for the Advance. It is awesome and the supply is dwindling. Was still able to find white/umber combo! I was just saying that the cost of the entertainment package, in my view, is not justified. 3 IPADs for the same price are much more versatile. Get a great deal!

I got the following quote in Orlando on a base model 2012 MDX:
 
Price: $37,700.76
Sales Tax: $2,335,36
Tag/Registration: $507.25
Dealer Fee: $699.95
 
Total Price: $41,243.32
 
For a 36 mo lease with 12k, 0 down, payment quoted was $564
 
Seems to me like my payments should be around $511.....what am I missing?
 
Is this a good deal? Thanks for any help....I am a single mom trying to do this on my own for the first time and just want to make sure I’m getting a fair deal.

That is not a good deal. It was a year or two ago but now with the new 2014 model coming out there are a lot of incentives on this car and it's a great time to buy. Go on cars.com or Edmunds and look up the invoice price of the vehicle. Subtract $3000 from that. You shouldn't purchase the car for anything higher than that. No dealer fee and other nonsense. $500 for tags and registration? I live in New York State and my charge was 125.

The MSRP is $43,925 minus $3,000 = $40,925
 
That is only $318 less than the $41,243 I was quoted. Seems pretty close to me. Am I missing something? I apologize if it's obvious, I've never been through this before.
 
(I forgot to mention the residual value is $22,841).
 
Still think it's not a good deal? Anyone else have any thoughts?

You subtracted $3,000 from the MSRP, not the invoice price. The invoice price is the price paid buy the dealer to the manufacturer not including incentives. The invoice for your vehicle is (base model) $40,758 (including the destination charge of $895). $37,700 should be the highest you should pay (nodealers fee)
In addition to the $3,000 incentive Acura is giving the dealer there is also a $1,000 hold.

Nice Job. Got mine at 40.5 from paragon, 0 doc fee, + nys tax + $100 dmv fees. I too emailed about 10 dealerships in ny/nj, offered 39.5 to all of them. Barely any had the 2012's blk/blk techs left, paragon had 5. NJ dealer hit the 39.5, but color wasnt 1st or 2nd choice. Rallye and nyc werent even close. Paragon also threw in the all season package (floor mats, cargo mats, wheel locks no charge). Very professonional dealership to work with. This forum is great!
