Hi everyone. I am currently entertaining an offer for an mdx with tech package for $39,086. Is this a good price for the car or can I do better? Thanks in advance.

Hi, if that's a brand new 2009 model, that doesn't look bad. I live across the river from Manhattan and I just saw my nearest dealer advertising a 2008 MDX (Tech) with 24K+ miles on it for $39,900. I don't know where you live, but in the vicinity of NYC what you are getting would be considered attractive.

I live in southern california. Yeah, that is for a brand new one not including TTL. Thanks....now I somehow have to convice my wife that it's a good deal.

I just looked at their website (my nearest acura dealer). They are advertising a 2009 used tech model with 8,750 miles for $40,900. The asking price for the one that I saw on their lot (2008 tech/DVD with 24,500) is now only $37,900. I was there on Saturday, so they have come down $2K in 3 days. I don't know if this info helps you in any way, but I thought I would mention.
BTW, where in SoCal do u live? I lived in LA between '91 and '96. I lived in a number of different neighborhoods there, but spent the longest part in Santa Monica, 2 blocks from the 3rd St. Promenade.

Thanks for the info. I am in Marina Del Rey. 3rd st. promenade is great. i'm waiting to see what they're going to do with that mall since they tore it down like 3 years ago. Like I said, I have to somehow convince my wife that the offer is a good deal.

That seems like a good price with technology pkg. What dealer in socal? I am in PV and looking as well, but I also want entertainment. The best i have so far for that combo is $40,800.

I think I'm close to your area..what dealer you bought from? I see you mentioned $42.7K+3K tax for your purchase? when did you buy vehicle?
about our Linance manager blogging,I think everyone on board now understand what his act was about..I dont know if he deliberately meant to bash our thread or it's just a act of bored man sittin in his office since there's no customer's in his dealership (probably they let'em go over 1000$ argument  )

It was Park Avenue Acura in Maywood, NJ. I bought the car less than a month ago. It was a 2009 with tech, entertainment and sport packages. Had 9,250 miles for it. Like I said, it was not that different in price from a brand new model, but the dealer convinced me that the extra warranty was worth it. Also, there seems to be a shortage of cars with running board which I liked about the car. I had two choices: either wait a few days and see if they would come down further (they came down $1,200 from the original asking) or risk losing it to someone else.

hi, live in boston area, just got two internet quotes for tech/ent 09 for 42,500 plus 395 fees. what to do??? I think this is high, any suggestions, or dealers in my neck of the woods you guys would recommend ?

I know what you mean!!! I lost TL last month  this dealership, it was their last 09,offer was 34200$+TTL but I didnt want to buy a FWD (especially with weather like we have for instance today),..Dont like 10'TL shape so now I"m looking alternate choice (MDX).
