#9998 of 11107 Too late for deals on 2009 G37 Journey Sedan?
Mar 10, 2010 (6:10 pm)
It appears that my local dealership still has a few '09 G37 Journey Sedans left on the lot. What is a fair price to pay with no options? I *really* would like an '09 with the 7 speed automatic (I'm turning in my '08 G37S Coupe with 6 speed manual) and trying to balance making a deal on a used '09 or trying to get a deal on a new leftover '09.
Pointers, tips, etc are greatly appreciated! If I can find the right deal, this will be my 4th Infiniti and I have loved them all!

Anyone have any experience with a factory order? Just curious on the time it took...I ordered a 6MT last month. I'm anxious to get it of course! Thanks.

Can the $1500 manufactures cash be applied to a lease for 2010 G37s coupe (6mt)?

Yes, I ordered my G37 Journey on 2/6/10 and the dealer said to expect delivery around the end of April, beginning of May. He said he'd receive an invoice two weeks before car arrives at dealership.

Yes, on a purchase if you do not use the special financing rates. Automatic or 6 speed does not matter.

Once ordered, it takes about 3 months to build and get to the US. Dealers order once a month at the beginning of each month.

By this time, us dealers just want to get rid of the 09 sedans. Most will sell the vehicle at invoice and then give you the $3500 on top of that or special rates if you choose. So, your looking at around $6500 off MSRP total.

Cool! Did you get much of a discount on a special order? Are there that few 6 speeds out there on lots or did you want a car with very specific equipment??

Just agreed on a 2009 G37x premium (list $39,230) for $32,997 + TTL from the dealer in Pittsburgh. Thanks for all of your posts here. I hope I can help someone else get as good or better deal than mine. Being educated really made a difference. I feel comfortable with this number but I wonder if I could have gotten even lower.
#10007 of 11107 '09 G37X with NAV, premium
Mar 11, 2010 (7:36 pm)
Got one of the last 3 '09s at my local dealer last week. G37X w/NAX, premium, trunk mats and cargo net. It was the discontinued coler (Sandstone?) which must be unpopular but which we like) with light leather interior (again personal preference over black). OTD price inc. tax, prep, dest was $35,900 cash. We were thrilled with the price and love the car.
We have been all Toyota for 20 years, but the test of the ES350 left us cold; boring driving experience, Camry-like interior, and of course all the Toyota news was a downer. We love the Infiniti. Engine is a rocket, breaks are firm, very comfortable, love the NAV controls, touch screen and voice controls, lots of luxury goodies, nice stereo (Ipod plus Music Box plus XM=too many choices!). Friend replacing his old Beamer drove ours and loved it. My 2000 Camry XLE V6 still runs like new. If the Infiniti holds up as well, I will be a customer for life.
