New G37S by srs_49

Well, I am now the owner of a new 2009 G37S 6MT.

The price was $36,450 which included the Premium, Nav, and Aerodynamic packages, Cargo area organizer, splash guards, and destination charges. That turned out to be ~$1000 under invoice. The car also included wheel locks (another $199), and I went with an optional 5-year road hazard warranty for the wheels and tires that was another $599. Adding on TTT and the bottom line was $39755 out the door and on the road.

I didn't really price shop around much. I did test drive a couple of used G35's, but the big-box used car super stores wanted $20-25K for a 3 year old G35 with 40K miles on it. Also manual trannies were pretty rare. So, in the end I decided that new G37 with the full factory warranty was worth the additional money.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2009 G37 Journey Sedan with the Premium package, for $313000 (34400 OTD with 8.75% sales tax + $55 doc fee + registration fee in California.) I bought the car from Infinity of Montclair, and highly recommend them. for their no-pressure competitive pricing. Ask for Jodie and tell them Sajal recommended you.

Now I’m looking for someone to partner up on the AMEX promotion. Please email me at creed.indusgmail.com

Targeted G37x sedan price by phillyfinc74

I am reading in general it looks like people are getting the cars 5-6k under MSRP. My question is if I do the 3.9% financing will they give me the $2500 as well? has anyone got both?

I am shopping in the Chicago area and are having trouble getting to invoice (- $2500 of course). My local dealership is stuck to about $300 above invoice. I did get below invoice quotes from out of state, but I don't think I will bother for a couple hundred bucks.G37x AWD, premium, Splash, Cargo Net, Mat etc. does work out to about $5600 off sticker. If you have to pay a bit above, it still is $5300 off sticker. So I think $5k off is pretty doable - but not so sure about $6k off. I tried - not working out. Also, it would get easier to get $6k off invoice the more you load the car, over and above the configuration I am looking for.

$2500 off & 3.9% seems to be mutually exclusive (72 month loan - 60 month is 1.9%). I think your best bet is to get your credit union to fund the loan. Penfed is giving out 3.9%, Capital One has 4.22% etc. - that way you can get the $2500 too. I don't think IFS would do both.
(Edited to fix typos)

sajal - I am saying the dealer now has $5000 to work with - so once a price is agreed upon they can go $5000 less. So, in your example - if the invoice was exactly $37,500 and they gave you the $5000 - then the selling price would be $32,500 (and the dealer would not make any money) - so they probably would want to be closer to $33,500 - they make a little, you save a lot.

Sewellgsm -- Not necessarily. It all seems to depend on your geographic location. In the Boston area, you can get $6,000 or a little more off MSRP from the biggest dealers and they're still making a little (although not all that much, according to what the GM of one ofthe dealers told me) and the car does not have to be all that loaded, i.e., Premium pkg. and mats but not Nav. This is not speculation -- I recently bought a G37X at exactly $6K off MSRP. Dealers in Albany and White Plains NY seem to be doing the same deals if you push it.
