Tax $2090.56, dealer invoice tax $60.74, doc fee $50.00, transfer fee $33.00, state registration $77.30, state inspection sticker $23.75, OTD price $35,784.35. Cash purchase. Figured out exactly what I wanted, contacted all other Texas dealers first via email asking if they had the exact car I wanted and what their best price was, dickered back a bit with a couple to improve the offers, then gave Austin Infiniti a chance to bid at the end. I live in Austin and wanted to spend my money locally, if possible. They came in basically at invoice on the first pass, but dropped immediately when I disclosed the other offers I got and indicated I was willing to travel to get my car. Relatively quick, easy experience. For Austin buyers, I highly recommend Akeem Disu at Austin Infiniti. No pressure, knowledgable, straight dealing, very nice guy. But do your research and get your numbers in order first! We set up the deal over email and he got me in and out of the dealership a very happy man in about 45 minutes! | |

Infiniti has a deal where you can get a $500 AMEX gift card if you purchase a new Infiniti between August 28. 2009 and November 30, 2009. I (as a current Infiniti owner) get a $150 AMEX gift card for "recommending" Infiniti to you.
