| I have received offers from several dealers for an 09 G37 Journey with Premium Package. Trunk cargo net and splash guards (non-sport) are dealer add-ons that seem to be included by nearly all dealers with this configuration. So far the best offer I have received for this combination using the $2,500 manufacturer to dealer marketing support is $32,703. There dealer processing fee is $399 in addition to the $32,703 so my out the door price including the processing fee but excluding TTL is $33,102. The dealer is about 1.5 hours from where I live. I would like to get $2,500 below invoice (Edmunds lists the invoice for this config. as $34,378), but so far I have not been able to get there. I tried to get the above offer down by $500 but the dealer wouldn't go for it. I am in a city with only 1 Infiniti dealer (who has not been willing to work with me beyond their initial offer of invoice combined with IFS' special financing of 2.9 for 60 or 3.9 for 72 OR $1,000 under invoice with no special financing), so I have had to go to other dealers in the region to create competition. I feel like there has to be a better deal out there given the current incentives, but I am not going to drive 250 miles to save a couple hundred bucks. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. | |

Replying to: mboro (Aug 11, 2009 5:31 pm) I suggest you get better offers from other dealerships within 250 miles, and when you get your goal of $2500 below invoice, call up your local dealership and allow them to match our outbid them. As an incentive, tell them you will bring your car to them for service and also give them the highest rating on the survey if they should match or outbid the other dealership. I have a feeling if they're the only dealership in your area, then they might be picky and hold out for better offers. If they dont go for it, then F--- them and buy from the faraway dealership, assuming you were able to save an additional $1500 there. For that amount, you could get limo service to the dealership with two hookers and still save some bucks. Best wishes.... |

Replying to: sewellgsm (Aug 12, 2009 6:32 am) mboro - Like sewellgsm said, price is important, but trade in and finance is important too. If I did not have a trade in, I might not get this price. I believe the dealers will give you something, but at the same time take something back from somewhere.

We just purchased a G37 premium pkg, splash guards, and cargo net from Grubbs in the DFW area. the MSRP $37225.00. We paid 32,100 + TTL with window tint included.
